Severely understaffed, we waited forever to order food and for our food to arrive. However everything seemed pretty organized... and the staff are very very helpful and patient and friendly. The chicken in the chicken wrap was way too salty, felt like I waseating 200% of the daily recommended sodium intake. The avocado toast was ok, generous amount of avocados. The fruit side dishwas not fresh and the fruits were mostly canned. Overall the chicken wrap was overpriced because it was very small. Read more

Unexpectedly delicious and great service. We really enjoyed our 2 nights eating at this lodge. The pork shoulder is... fall-off-the-bone yummy; the grilled chicken breast is so tender. The chef knows their food. Our wait staff were friendly,authentic and funny - especially Angela & Ivory. The ambiance is not the greatest (thus the one star off.) Stop by for lunch ordinner. Worthy. Went with my wife for a night at Manning Park. Had dinner and breakfast here. I would describe the food as very average and at... times below. I had the tenderloin grilled cheese with poutine which sounds absolutely amazing on paper. The execution was notvery good. It was very dry and hard to chew. Definitely could use an au jus to help it go down. The fries also had the samedryness that made them seem old. The gravy also wasn't hot enough and the cheese curds were still cold. Wife had the porkshoulder which she seemed to enjoy. All together average experience with average food. Nothing else around though so you don'treally have any options. Read more

My parents and I stopped in for a late lunch on our way home in late August. We got seated almost immediately and were able to... order fairly quickly. But when a large group came in, we were basically ignored and had to wait longer than the large group,who ordered after us, to get our food. All we ordered was a bowl of soup, soup and salad and a thing of chicken fingers andfries. It was frustrating on everyone at the table that while we had ordered sooner than the larger group near us, we had towait longer for our food. There was another table of three that had to wait even longer than our table, even though they hadvery likely ordered their food prior to us. I would have understood if the larger group had sat down and ordered prior to us,but orders should be sent out in the order that they are sent in, not by the largeness of a group. And honestly, the tablesthat had to wait should have something comped on their bills or given a free dessert. If it had been me, I would have paid formy drink and gotten something from the snack shop and ate in Hope instead. I doubt I will want to eat here again. And quitehonestly, I could have gotten the exact same meal for a much cheaper price elsewhere. Our server was wonderful, but the servicewas very slow. Read more

I just grab fries to go and it was not so good. The price was 4$ for the fries (small box). The waitresses were lovely and the... atmosphere at the place was cute. They have indoor and outdoor seating areas. Read more

Perfect place when you driving true Hwy 3 to stop, rest, enjoy the fresh air and of course Mountain View and nature, clean and... friendly staff food is fresh and decorations much the surrounding areas also their is a small shop next door plus you can enjoythe outdoors dining area if some mosquitoes doesn't bother you . I did not eat in the restaurant but did a takeout as we were at Lighting lake and wanted to grab a quick bite. Ordered a Spinach... salad and a kids chicken strips. Kids strips were over cooked and dry, fries were broken and oily, as the smaller piecesabsorbed all the frying oil. Spinach salad was a tiny portion for $15 and half of the spinach was soggy. The feta cheese wassprinkled at the bottom of the salad container and stuck to it. Also the menu outside the restaurant is dated and shows adifferent price than what was charged. The spinach salad was $10 on the menu and the charge was $15. Read more
