Great food and excellent service. We had someone with gluten and lactose intolerance with us, and our server was extremely... helpful in determining what was safe. As a result there were multiple menu options to chose from, which made the visit so muchmore enjoyable. We will be back. Read more

I wish I could give zero stars... worst restaurant ever... The service received was horrendous.. We ordered all our meals... (including apps) ... We firstly received our salads which were standard but I'll say tasty. Our apps finally arrived after I'dsay 20 mins.... My friends flatbread was soggy and undercooked. My calamari was undercooked (chewy)... as we ate our apps, myother friend and her bf didn't receive theirs... when we finally saw our waitress again (never once came to our table to ask howthings were or if we needed anything).... He asked her about his appetizer.. The waitress snapped at him saying "If you justgive me a minute!" A few mins pass.... she comes out with another waitress bringing my friends appetizer along with all the maincourses... I will say... the main courses were okay minus my one friend got a chicken melt and asked for no mushrooms which theyadded... My burger tasted well and sweet potato fries... my other friend and her husband shared a club which they enjoyed. Myfriend's bf had fish and chips. He said the fish was soggy but alright otherwise... We finished our meals and drinks...waitingto see the waitress again to get our bills...she again ignores our table going elsewhere till my friend had to signal her. Shebrought the bills... they were all wrong...we told her calmly which all of us ordered...she came back again with all mixed upbills... there was only 5 of us at a table.... she requested us to the bar to do the bills... my one friend who has prior workexperience in owning a restaurant did our bills for us... I ordered a hungry man to go and wow it was hard to eat, toast was not toasted and was stale to the bite and very very light... butter, homefries were just deep fried potatoes with nofavoring other than sitting in the oil too long... sausages I asked welldone were a little undercooked I didn't even eat them... I absolutely would not recommend! Poor service, and food was inedible. It took 15 minutes, and two servers to take our drink... order, then another 45 minutes for our food to come out. This was definitely not due to staff shortages, as there was only oneother table sat in the restaurant. We ordered the sample plate and nachos, everything was burnt or tasted like burnt oil. Whenour server came to do a quality check and ask how everything was, my husband said not good and she just shrugged and walkedaway. Left $60 on the table and walked out hungry. Would not recommend. Ordered hot hamburger and found a hair in the beef patty. When retured and brought back the meal had... been left asside cause the mashed potatoes were ice cold. We didn't go for a third try. Burger was ok but for 20 some bucksthey cheap out on the fries. The other dish was the si called special. Small frozen rack of ribs, chichen fingers were friedin the same oil as the friday night fish and hip special, frozen of course. The chicken smelled like fish. Do not recommend Uber as it was trash to Barrhaven. Have to try in house to see, but basics on some dishes are not up to par... and would be surprised if it is just delivery. Examples bruschetta, fish and chips, mussels in white wine and garlic sauce, andFrench onion soup. Bruschetta - Giant chucks of rubbery cheese, odd garlic bread as base, but actual other topping good. Fishand chips - fine...anything bad will attribute to steam and delivery time. Mussels - rubbery, no flavour, no sauce, and overalljust a joke and a money grab as an app. French onion soup - house made onion broth must refer to canned or boxed beef brothwith onions in it, then add salt in a pot in the kitchen. Great restaurant. We went a Sunday , the place was quiet, the staff was friendly and the food was great. Reasonably priced as... well. We both had burgers - very yummy. Love that it came with a side of salad with the French fries / poutine. We were inManotick for the Third World Bazaar and cannot wait for next yr : we will come back :) Edit: went back , this time it was aSaturday morning : busy and staff was not as attentive (had to ask two times for another glass of water) but food was stillexcellent.
