The atmosphere is amazingly spot-on stereotypical British pub. Main course menu items are mostly things you could find in the... UK as well. Had the Fish and Chips on this visit. It was a good serving size, but slightly over fried. Somewhat disappointedthat Smithwicks was out of stock, would have been great to see other British Isles beverage selections on the Bar list. Fordessert, adding some traditional British desserts to the menu, thinking Eton Mess or Sticky Toffee Pudding, would be ideal tocap off the meal. We had a fabulous experience for our first time here. For a seemingly typical British pub, one dish we had was surprisingly... delicious - the beef & brussels. Kind of a General Tso?s beef with sautéed brussel sprouts. The waitstaff were very good andengaging. The patio with a view of the river is worth mentioning too. Read more
Take out lunch! With the pandemic I have been really trying to support local. Today I ordered lunch for 4 as takeout. First off.... When I got home I realized they had prepared an entirely wrong meal for one of the meals. I called them just to let them know.Their solution was to immediately prepare the correct meal for me to pick up. 100% approval of the solution. Everyone makesmistakes and it?s in the solutions that you see how much a business cares about their customers. Now onto to food. Simply put-amazing! For a British restaurant you would think they would take better care of there chips ours where soggy. Aside from that this... little quintessential restaurant is an absolute hidden gem. I would recommend to any passer by or local. The food was affordableand delicious. Our service was amazing she was so polite and professional. Fish and chips is delicious I would highly recommend. Delicious homemade butter tart! We went there for a late lunch around 3-4 pm, and service was fast and on point,and the food was... great. All dessert are home made, so we defientely will go back to try more! Read more
