Bar service was excellent. We moved from the bar to a table to eat. From the table we placed our order, two of the four orders... requested ranch on the side. The food was brought out by a food runner/server. No plate came with silverware, napkins, or ranch(not a problem, just ask, right?) when I asked for 4 silverware settings and two sides of ranch, I was met with an over the top,dramatic display of a toddler in a man?s body, he absolutely threw a fit when he was asked to do his job? bring silverware andranch. He turned his head in a dramatic fashion, stuck his nose in the air, slammed his shoulders, and pranced away with theattitude of a queen. He returned and dropped the silverware rolls as if they were hot (they were not), the ranch was deliveredlike he was bowling. Apparently he was not happy to be employed. I expressed my observation of his behavior with his manager,she seemed fine with in her words ?him having a moment?, I expressed that as an employer, I would be bothered by his expressionof a moment, I tried several angles, none that seemed to rise to the point of her having any concern. I?ve been a regularcustomer (2-3 times per month) for nearly the past 3 years, I will now choose to inform my neighbors and passes through ofMansfield to not choose this establishment that doesn?t have a customer forward business model, please reward other deservingrestaurants with your business. We had a great time at Jakes! The restaurant was clean and the staff members were nice. Shoutout to Hannah and Dru! ???? Our... entrees were scrumptious. We drove over 30 miles in the storm to experience this restaurant. Thanks for making it worthwhile. Read more

I love Jake?s! They can?t go wrong. We placed a to-go order with Vandy on the phone, and he provided great service and... double-checked our order before ending the call, and I appreciate that. Nothing is worse than ordering to-go and realizing theygot it wrong when you go home. We went for something new, so we tried the December?s 48 Special Burger, and the Kickin? ChickenFried Bacon Burger. Both are really good! They both were large and full of flavor. You can?t go wrong with their monthlyspecials. They always hit the spot. ???? Read more
Sunday brunch! $4 mimosa. Lunch lunch doesn't start until 11. The Hangover Bloody Mary is the Tito's Loaded Bloody Mary. Good... gravy, hash browns, drinks. Abigale from the Ft. Worth location does Sunday brunch in Mansfield and is excellent as a waitress.Always have a great time at Jake's. The kicken chicken fried ribeye was chewy so they lost a star but it tasted amazing. I heard about this place from friends and neighbors. The staff was very cheerful and friendly. Hunter was our server and he did... a great job being very attentive and helpful. The mixed drinks were amazing. The food came and was absolutely delicious. My son,who usually comments "It's alright" when asked his opinion about the food said the burger was really good. Been wanting to go here.had a first day server and he was doing a great job. We liked everything, but seemed a little pricey and... surprised fries not included with the burger. And the we ordered was a very small portion. Same goes for the green beans. Theywere good but seemed like where are the rest of them? Inside was nice and could watch games from anywhere. The bartender Sierra was amazing. She was very attentive despite being slammed. Only complaint was the burger. It lacked flavor.... A little salt and pepper would go a long way. Regardless, it's a convenient location, the bartender is awesome, and the beerselection outweighs the tasteless beef. It was still good overall. We will be back. Read more
