I like the big basket of chips, however, they put half tortilla ships and half of their homemade ships. I want that basket... filled with their chips. Whats up with these foreign tortilla ships?? . And their original chips where pretty much all brokencrumbles from bottom of the barrel. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Food tasted great! Read more
Grabbed some lunch to go. Get home and a portion of my order was missing. Upon calling the manager became very rude with me,... telling me I could just come back. No, it is too far. He said he wasn?t going to comp my meal. I told him I never asked him tocomp my meal. I did expect him to care about his customers to make us feel like it was worth coming back another time. Not oncewas there an apology. I love Mexican Inn but never expect the manager to be rude and condescending! He then said I will compyour meal. This place is not an authentic Mexican joint; it is a creation from the owners of Spring Creek. This isn?t bad because the... brisket used for the tacos comes from Spring Creek! Charro beans and Mexican rice is absolutely bomb. Fresh corn tortillas madedaily but I don?t know if anyone is saying they are amazing. They are made in front of your eyes ? so that?s cool. The chipsare outstanding and made daily too. The bar understands what kind of restaurant this place is so they count a little longer onthose tequila pours which makes up for the tortillas!!! Panchos makes the best sopapillas in the world and so I might be jadedhowever these sopapillas must be avoided, no matter what. Read more
It pains me to give 3 stars because I really love this place and I try not to review if I?m not going to give high marks. The... food is great. We absolutely love the restaurant and we have had some great service and great experiences. However, the lastthree experiences haven?t been good. We have called in to go orders twice and have had to wait over an hour both times afterbeing told a 20 to 25 minute wait. The orders have not been correct either. It seems there is a disconnect between the persontaking the calls and placing the to go orders. Then, tonight we went in at 5:30pm and weren?t seated until after 6pm afterbeing told it?s going to just be a few moments. The restaurant was not crowded, there were plenty of empty tables, and about adozen employees standing around doing nothing. Once we were actually seated, the waitress was good and the food was great. Hopefully, they can get the kinks worked out and become more efficient as they have been in the past. Read more
Off my personal review, my family has been visiting this place for years. Even before their first closing, which was back before... they changed up the design of the restaurant for a new food chain the name of which I cannot remember, they were pretty good butstruggled in a bunch of aspects like their staffing, food, and overall restaurant layout. My family still loved going sometimesto meet up and have a good sit-down dinner, but were very sad to learn that it was closing and would be replaced. fast forwardto about a year ago (I believe?), my family was very excited to find out they would be returning with a new layout and updatedmenus/staff making it exciting to see how much it would change. Upon our first visit we were absolutely shocked to find out howmuch had changed but were also happy to find that they had kept their special tortilla chips which we had always loved. To thisday we are still so amazed at the change and how far this restaurant has come and I have nothing but 5 stars to give. Read more
