This might sound crazy but this Texas heat has me craving a big greasy burger. After my appointment nearby, I decided to try... Mooyah Burgers, Fries & Shakes. Their burgers aren?t greasy but they sure are delish! Who needs greasy anyway????? Needs vswants????. The potato bun was soft and fresh, the burger was seasoned and cooked to perfection and the sweet potato fries wereamazing! The prices were very good but the service could?ve been better. The cashier should have personality since they arethe first person the customer encounters at this establishment. Besides that, this was a wonderful experience that led to acleaned plate???? My husband and I love MOOYAH. I love the MDC with sweet potato fries. They are my favorite. I?ve dined in twice and this most... recent time I was able to meet the manager. I had to give the staff props because when we come in the employees always greatus. Little did I know, the place is ran by teens! They are on it, welcoming and my burger is always on point. Mind you, this isnot a fast food restaurant and everything is prepared in house all the way down to the bread, fries, etc. I was quitesurprised! When we first tried this place about a year ago, it was fantastic! We were so impressed. However, each time we go; especially in... the past 3 months it's not very good. They constantly forget our queso, the fries are overcooked and old, and the pattiessometimes are missing off our burger. Tonight will be our last visit. I ordered a Paleo burger but I recieved a burger withbread instead of lettuce wrap.The paleo burger is on their menu! How and why did I recieve my burger served on bread instead oflettuce?? On top of that, the bread didn't even look good. My initial visit was a win but that was so long ago and nothing butdisappointment has happened since then. Came here for lunch took 20 minutes to get my burger once I did receive it the burger was dry overcooked and charred. They did... remake the burger but as you can see in the photos the burger is not fully cooked. Not to mention I ordered fries and the firsttime around the fries were ice cold by the time we got the burgers due to them sitting on the tray for over 10 minutes, secondtime around they were not much better. Service has gone way down hill the employees would rather talk and joke around then focuson the customers. Not to mention the cook tried arguing with me about how that?s how the burgers should be. Went to Mooyah with my son to pick up a burger and a milkshake. Unfortunately the machine for the milkshakes was not working. ... We placed our for a simple bacon cheeseburger (meat, cheese & bacon only) with fries. Checked out at 7:18pm and did not get ourorder until 7:53pm. When we got home the burger was overcooked, burnt and definitely not worth the $14.36 charged for the meal. Sad to see this because it is my son?s favorite place. I started going to this location less than a year ago. When I first came in the food was really great! I ordered the vegan with... bacon and sweet potato fries. The fries were soft and crispy and the burger was really good as well with the multi grain bun. Iplaced an order the 13th of December and the quality has gone down significantly. When I walked in to get my food 20 minutesbefore closing they were already cleaning up with the chairs stacked on the tables. I ask for my food and the girl at theregister is like, 'Just wait in your car,' but the funny thing is I could see my bag on the counter. She took her sweet time tobring it out, and my food was already cold, and just did not taste good. I also asked for a multi grain bun, but they did notgive me that either.
