Ordered the Lilly?s platter and calimari. Calimari was very dark as if cooked in old oil. It wasn?t greasy nor did it taste old... but everything stuck together like a calimari ball. It was rather bland but that?s not the reason for the low rating. The lowrating is because the crawfish were mushy and the snow crab reeks of bleach. It?s really terrible. Read more
We were promptly greeted & assisted by a friendly face behind the counter. There weren't any other customers in the restaurant... this particular Sunday evening while we were there. We tried 1 of their family meals. Everyone agreed that the food was verytasty. I also ordered garlic noodles & they were just "ok." I probably won't order that item again. WARNING WITH CAUTION: DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!! On July 14th, 2022 around 12:30 pm I ordered their lunch special shrimp... fried rice. I went to pick it up and rushed back to work before my meeting started as i took a couple of bites, low a behold themost disgusting and horrible experience, the shrimp was NOT CLEANED AND TINY LEFTOVER EGG SHELLS IN MY RICE. I immediatelystopped eating. It was a big turn off, i kept picking out all the shrimp that were bad. Which was about 70% of the shrimp thatwas in my rice. I called the resturant back to speak the manager. The guy that previously took my order over the phone told methe manager was not there. He insisted on trying to sort things out my giving me 50% off my next meal. I told him NO that doesnot solve anything and I will not be ordering anything out of that kitchen ever again! I asked when will the manager be there,he told me he does not know they just pop in and out whenever at anytime. He gave me an email address to send a message to themanager of my concern. As I did later that day around 3:40 still to this day no response. Their prepping and cooks in thekitchen are not sanitary. I get sick real easily. There is no exception or excuse for this. The company and the managementshould be ashamed of themselves. Me personally If i was the manager I would be concerned about my kitchen cleanliness, storageand sanitation protocols and procedures. What if I was a secret shopper or someone that worked for the state health departmentand you serve this level of customer service and food. To me this means you just serve your customers anything. No wonder whyits never too busy or a line out of the door and a parking lot full of cars . Because your service and hospitality SUCKS. Peopleplease if stay in this area or want seafood period please go SOMEWHERE ELSE!! not this place. I use to come during the pandemicbecause they were new. If I could give this place negative 5 stars I would! I was so looking forward to trying something from here as i LOVE... Viet-Cajun style seafood. The food from Em's was TERRIBLE! The fish and chicken wings were CLEARLY fried in old grease andovercooked. Zero flavor on the wings AND there was a very strange aftertaste. On top of everything else It was soaking ingrease - YUCK! It's not edible. I ordered the pick 3 with whole catfish, 6 whole wings, 2 catfish filets, and Em's specialfried rice which was NOTHING special and the crawfish in it tasted like unwashed crawfish. Love that there are several options for seafood in this area but really digging Em's lately. The crawfish boil with Em's sauce... is frankly one of the best we've had, and we've been to quite a few all over town. Keep in mind this is Vietnamese Cajun stylecrawfish. The fried seafood here is also very good, comparable to most fried seafood elsewhere. The fries are also crispy andwell seasoned. They have daily specials for their seafood boil depending on what you like. One of our go-tos is the buy 5lbs ofcrawfish get 1lb free. Prices per pound of seafood is very reasonable. We usually get our food in a timely manner for pickupand had no issues. We'll likely be coming back frequently once crawfish season kicks into full swing. Highly recommend! Read more
Not a fan of their regular fried rice (my husband enjoyed it though) but everything else was so delicious. The staff was... wonderful, the decor nice and bright. Will definitely be back again Read more
A little expensive for the portion - about 14$ for just 3 shrimp, fish, and fried rice. I felt like it could have either been... served differently to make it appear larger... but when it comes to value this resturant has nothing to write home about. Read more
