First time in the area and was looking for some BBQ. Saw the reviews and had to try it out. The people were friendly, helpful in... how to order. You order by the pound family style and it did not disappoint. Kids and adults loved the food. The bbq sauce wassweet and yummy. The spice on the BBQ blended great with the sauce. We tried the turkey, brisket, and sausage. The brisket was abit fatty for me but everyone else loved that as it made it super tender and juicy. The sausage was just right and the turkeyhad a great spice on the edges. The Mac and cheese and potato salad are made from scratch and very yummy. We will definitely beback. Read more
This time, I went inside for the first time since the pandemic started. The interior layout has been remodeled for streamlining... the order process, enhancing the seating area and an all-around updating of the interior. The jukebox with a great selection oftunes is hyuge. And it's free! I know I'm in the right place when Robert Earl (Houston local) is playing while entering. Theowners are friendly and happy to engage in conversation. The kitchen is attentive and always smiling. I love their brisket andthe burnt ends aren't caramelized in some sugary sauce like other places. The jalapeño cheese link was ????. I definitelyrecommend a stop here. Read more

Really good BBQ! I like the food and the bottled coke, would be nice to have meal options like 2 meat, 3 meat, instead they sell... by the weight, and it?s a bit odd to request a pound of this and a half pound of that. Nonetheless, good food, would like to seerolls over sliced bread, and maybe fountain drinks in the near future. Let?s get open during the week, at least for dinner time.Manvel needs more restaurants and this place has the potential to become a hotspot. Enjoy! Should definitely have TEA! Read more
We just tried this place out for the first time today and we now realize what all of the hype is about! As soon as we walked... in, we were greeted by the owner. He was so welcoming and walked us through how to order and what he recommended we get toeat. We had the Brisket, Burnt ends, Turkey, and Macaroni and cheese. It came with bread, pickles, cheddar cheese, onions,sauce, and crackers on the side. Every bite we ate was amazing. My husband an di both said this was the best brisket we?ve hadin a long time. And leave that sauce on the side alone - you don?t need it. They have a drive through if you just want to getit and go or the have tables inside and on the patio available.
