I?m a foodie? so when I heard people raving about this place I needed to try it. Boy was I disappointed. For the amount of money... we spent, I was sure the food was going to be worth it. I was wrong. The chili was so dry and salty.. the pork didn?t taste likeany flavor and the chicken was cold and dry. The cornbread not pictured was over cooked. Delicious! My kids only thought the chicken tenders were ok, I guess because the chicken was real and not super processed. I had... the mesquite BBQ chicken platter and it was so good. Enough food for 2 people. My husband had the brisket and the duck. He saidthe brisket was super delicious. Great service and ambience, too! Very excited to come back. Solid BBQ. Wife always gets the brisket sandwich which has a generous serving of meat. I got the pictured special which was very... good. Sprouts and sweet potatoes were great but I wanted more of them! We have always liked the food and had a good experience.Great service. One good addition would be a tangy or spicy BBQ sauce option. Grub Hut is a BBQ Mexican fusion restaurant. The BBQ or Mexican dishes are all delicious. From a burrito bowl to the ribs /... chicken combo pretty much everything on the menu is tasty. Highly recommend this place. It?s also BYOB but can get packed onthe weekends. Read more
My Oh oh my. My opinion, one of the best tex mex restaurants in Middlesex County if not NJ. I heard good things coming in and I... wasn't disappointed upon arrival. The service, to the food, to the efficiency. My family and I arrived late but was treatedkindly and were not rushed in eating or ordering. Th sassafras chicken was phenomenonal as well as the sweet potatoe fries. The all you can eat taco took my wife's eyes as she attempted to eat as much as she could with the generous portions served. All inall, we were satisfied and gives this experience two thumbs up. Way to run an establishment! Read more
My Wife and I just had lunch here, and wow, were we impressed! Probably the best southwestern food I've had in NJ. Chili was... very tasty, and my KC rib burritos were excellent. My Wife's fish tacos were also great, and the house salsa and the sauces onthe table were all top-notch.
