Mixed reviews from our party. All agreed the service was excellent, knowledgeable, and prompt. My general assessment is that... the pasta dishes are pretty good, the veal/chicken dishes are as well, but others were mediocre at best (steak, salmon). Nicewine list reasonably priced. Small place (like ~14-16 tables) so get reservations. No kids menu and split plate cost is$16...so they are clearly going for an adult vibe. Overall a nice experience, just not quite worthy of a higher rating. Read more

Overall not as expected. My wive received the wrong main dish. My steak was very tuff but was cooked to correct temperature. ... We spoke to the manager and she immediately comped our entire meal, including drinks and appetizers. So overall we would rateour experience at about a 2. But because management stepped up to the situation, we rated the restaurant at a 3. Staff wasprofessional and friendly. Drinks were good. But at a place like this we would expect nothing but perfection. Didn?t happen Read more

This may be personal preference but 3 out of 4 of us didn't really care for the taste of our meals. It was also fairly... expensive. There was a lot of food on the plate. Read more

We enjoyed our first visit to Funistrada. Our server recommended the veal dishes, so I ordered Veal Saltimbocca and my wife had... the Lemon Artichoke Veal. Both meals were very tasty. The restaurant is cozy and tables are close together, so if you're covidcautious you may not be comfortable. Read more

Thanks to Trattoria Funistrada for squeezing us in when a storm knocked the power out on our dinner plans for our anniversary... week dinner (yes, that's a thing) while staying on Glen Lake. Literally the best chicken saltimbocca ever. The hostess and waitstaff were very accommodating and the chef stopped by to check on us. Homemade desserts are a must try. I'd recommendreservations because we got there right when they opened.... Read more
