Quesabirria was very good. I really enjoy birria style and was nursing my baby while eating so the birria quesadilla was the... least likely to make a mess on my nursing cover. I still dripped some of the compote on it but it was worth it! The molcajetewas impressive with a lot of meat! The chips and salsa are not free here but if they were, I would have filled up on those andhave to take leftovers home! My daughter and I each had the quesabirria while my husband, 7yr old and 3yo shared the molcajeteand birria tostada. We all had plenty of food and each tried each dish. We were stuffed! We have now been to Las Frida's several times with several different friends and ordered several different foods. All of it has... been excellent each time. So, it is not just us and it is not just one menu item that they've perfected. They appear to knowwhat they're doing across the board. We've dined in and ordered out; it's always incredible. I could live here! When you walk in, it has a family owned atmosphere. Feels very inviting. We were able to sit anywhere, so we... picked the booth in the back. Service was great, even though they were packed full! Looking at the menu, they had EVERYTHING. breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. I ordered the Birria Tacos. I had never had them before. A MUST GO PLACE!! The food here is super good. It has been the best Mexican restaurant I?ve been to. And the price makes it... extremely worth it. If you anywhere in the area, I would definitely recommend coming here! The food was superb. My burrito wasdelicious and good sized. The sauce on top was to die for. I didn?t think it looked good at first, but was really surprised. Thesauce on top made the dish really come together. Overall: Best restaurant in the area! This is a must go place. Read more
Everything we order had FLAVOR! I knew this spot was special when they added pineapple with the pastor now that?s how it should... be. The horchata was close to perfect not to much cinnamon nor to sweet, but their hot sauce and dipping sauce was somethingelse the flavor just hits you. I can see myself coming here for now on. Las Fridas offers AMAZING and very authentic Mexican cuisine. I can't say enough positive compliments about this family owned... restaurant. Las Fridas offers a wide variety of choices from delicious pork tamales and homemade chips w/ sensational salsa. Ifeel in love w/ my suadero tacos w/ avocado sauce. If you need a refreshing, almost tart/ not sweet drink- order the tamarindoon ice or BYOB! I remain BLOW AWAY by the Flan. I can only describe this Flan as HEAVENSENT-fresh, creamy, sweet and succulentw/ a mouthwatering caramel sauce that I'll be dreaming about until we meet again. The atmosphere was causal and very clean. Ourserver and the entire kitchen staff were very warm and welcoming. I'll be back to try everything on the menu... especially todouble-check the Flan! Delicious food!! We got the shrimp and bacon chimichanga and ceviche. It was a great spot for a Saturday lunch. We sat outside... and it was super pleasant. The waitress and staff were extremely professional and friendly. We'll be back for sure! Read more
