I have to give 1 star, because it will not let me put zero. Ganite City / Village Inn DESERVE 0 STARS. The girls at the front... are robots. Because when you come in to the restaurant they say "Is 30 minutes wait ". If have a reservation or not, you have towait. They don't go inside and look if have tables to seat people or not. Today on10/16/2022 and went in to eat brunch and lefthungry and very really stressed out. I first went in and out after talking to a rude young girl with long dark hair. If she didn't want to work she should have stayed at home. We have tried to eat there at many different times and was Always The Same ,30 minutes wait or more even with just a few people in there seated. NEVER WILL I GO THERE AGAIN. I took picture too show youguys how they are LIARS restaurant empty and people like sitting there robots waiting outside to be seated. The restaurant hastwo levels. I took pictures to show how empty restaurant was. Read more

Bottomless Mimosas!!! Need I say more… But we enjoyed our time here. We came after hearing they have a good brunch. The brunch... is either buffet style for $20 (great price) or you can order off the menu. Also feature bottomless mimosas for $11.99 wherethey just leave the bottle on the table which is wonderful. They start you with caramel rolls if you order the brunch. Thebuffet featured: eggs, potatoes hash, bacon, sausage, sausage and gravy, French toast, and 3 lunch options (they were notlabeled) & didn’t look good so we didn’t eat it. It also had a omelet bar and eggs Benedict bar with a guy slicing primerib. The food was good nothing to brag about but a decent meal for the price. We stayed and drank 2 bottles of the mimosasbefore tapping out. Our waitress although friendly wasn’t very attentive so another reason for a low star. It is worth a visitif you are looking for a budget friendly brunch. Read more

This is more like Golden Corrals but way better. It has a good vibe with good music, better tasting food and drinks. Love the... specials on unlimited Mimosa and Cinnamons (see photos). Love it and recommend it. Read more

Holy buckets, this meal was somethin’ else. I tried to enjoy it, ya know? Didn’t wanna take it for Granite…... ???????????? Alright, that was a bit of a rocky start. These plates aren’t tectonic, but they’re neverthelessimpressive! Granite City Meatloaf with Green Beans, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and Fried Onions, in a Bourbon Onion Sauce stackedon a Baguette ???????????????????? and for dessert, we dished with an Ice Cream Caramel Cookie Skillet ???? ???? The main dishwas magnificent. Crispy onions, smooth and savory potatoes, delicious ‘loaf, that stupid-good savory-sweet sauce, and somebread for clean up ???? And that hot cookie skillet with cold ice cream melting all over, and a caramel touch? That’s asticky situation you won't mind much ???? Gotta love Granite City. Semi-fine dining without severe financial implications thatmakes ya feel special. Read more

Love their new breakfast menu and that it runs longer on the weekend. Big hooray for the espresso drinks (latte with... breakfast!!). Great energy but 4/5 stars because even with reservations there is still a wait and the food took way too long tocome out (nearly 45 min). Food is excellent. Read more

so so very impressed, my friend and i came here trying to find a nice place to come sit down and get some delicious food to... eat. i had previously been to this specific location before, and the experience, let a lone the food, was astonishing. walkingin, the wait was high, but the hosts suggested tables to us that where in the bar, letting us be seated right away. which wasvery much appreciated. our server, michelle was super duper accommodating to us and, knowing, we where 2 teenagers coming witha budget, she gave us options, showing/recommending great, and delicious food that was within our budget. all the staff alwayshad a smile, even with how busy it may have been. they where what made that atmosphere very warm. thank you, for the amazingexperience. I took clients here to eat dinner and drinks a couple of nights ago (Wednesday). I love the look and feel of this Granite City,... as apposed to the GC in Eagan. The Maple Grove GC has a completely different layout, with lots of intimate nooks and booths, that make the feel of the place so much better than the Eagan GC. Our waitress was a seasoned veteran, and she was wonderful! Very efficient, very attentive (but not overly so), and served us perfectly. Beers and drinks were just fine, and nicelypriced. That being said, I'm giving this particular review a 4-star because I had the GC special of the night - theall-you-can-eat pasta special (see my photos for nightly specials). Well, my chicken and asparagus linguine pasta was too oily; and mostly cold when it arrived! I mean, it was swimming in olive oil, or vegetable oil. I had to literally let it drain offthe pasta before I ate it. And it was mostly cold too. I did eat it all, then tried the cajun pasta that was "better". Therewasn't more than 2 pieces of sausage in it, though, but it was hot and not dripping in oil. The all you can eat deal comes witha simple salad (mostly iceberg lettuce) and a piece of french bread (I didn't eat that). They also offer a happy hour eachnight (3 - 6 pm), offering discounts on select apps and drinks. See my photos. Otherwise, the waitress was awesome, and I dolove the interior of this GC, hence the 4-star. Reservations are suggested, and there is a large parking lot. Masks arerequested, per the instructions on the door. There's a wonderful outdoor patio (obviously didn't sit outside in Jan in MN!). Read more

Great brunch that comes with caramel rolls to your table. They have a bloody Mary card to fill out various options of vodka,... spiciness, and garnishes, which is fun. For whatever reason, the black coffee was incredible. The cut up fruit was nice, although not in season. The omelette line was always pretty long. The cockail shrimp sauce was really delicious.
