Went to Maple Tavern for a Vikings game day and the guys with The Skol Bar absolutely killed it. We are Viking season ticket... holders and that was the most fun we have had at a Vikings game away from the actual stadium. Maple taverns food was great andthe kids had more fun and watched the most of the game then they ever had. You need to come here! Read more
Nice outside deck and atmosphere with excellent service that we received. Food is tasty tavern fair....fun spot and a good... value....my only knock is they need to work on their whisky selection - a cross the board. Read more
The variety of items on the menu was fantastic! Tons of options to choose from and many unique options as well. The portions... however were way too small for the price I paid for my meal, and the food itself tasted just ok. I would definitely come back,but comparatively speaking there are other bars in Maple Grove where you can get more bang for your buck. Read more
Our server bartender and kitchen assistant were terrific. My lady had the pastrami sammich, and it was really good. ... Unfortunately, I had the Philly and the beef was dry and the bun was even quite dry on the ends. The server was gracious tooffer some au-ju...not sure if she upcharged or not. I also added the homemade onion rings; 3 large ones. They could be ontosomething with them, however, they were actually doughy and undercooked. All in all, pints of Coors Light tap were $4.50 andSummer Shandy was $6! The sandwiches were basically $17 a pop so for the money spent, we probably won't be back anytime soon. Not a great first time visit. The food was bland. None of the chicken had any flavor. The rub that was on the regular french... fries stuck to your tongue more than the fries. And it seemed like our server was inconvenienced by our visit. I should havegone with my gut to leave when we were told the only area big enough for us had an incoming large party reservation.
