We went to Olive Garden Maple Grove for my Birthday dinner. I love Olive Garden, however, I had the Shrimp Scampi .. it comes... with angel hair pasta ... Where was the pasta again? Olive Garden, you've got to get better with consistency. My mom got thesame meal, she had a ton of noodles, barely any sauce and mine was just about all sauce and barely any noodles. Ordered lunch curbside pickup. Order was easily placed online, was ready within 25 minutes, order received was accurate, Togo... plastic ware was sturdy and soups nicely wrapped. Food was hot and tasted just fine as it usually does. Downfall when orderingtake out they only give you 2 breadsticks per person, yes I know I don’t need more but I wanted more! We had the greatest time here. I was there first, waited for my wife with a quick appetizer which was a new item, and they have... several, which is so delicious. Derek the manager stopped by every table asking how our meals were, he's engaging, witty and agreat shaker and mover. We've been here for years, and saw many of the wait staff here, waving and saying hi. This past Fridaynight was busy, but it didn't stop anyone from being great!! Hi from Deb and Dave Derek! The staff were awesome. Moving quickly and seemed a positive environment. The manager was out in the dinning room communicating... with the staff. This made our experience great. I ordered the soup and salad, It literally had enough soup in each bowl they brought me of four bites ????. I kept having to ask... and ask. The service experience was irritating ???? ????. No grown adults wants to constantly be served kids size unlimitedsoup. Management was walking around looking busy, but I didn't see him checking in with guests like other locations. Great experience! Just popped in for a quick lunch while on the road. Laura was our server and she absolutely made our... experience. So sweet and friendly. Service was incredible. Our waters were never empty and with our unlimited soup and salad wealso never ran out of soup or salad. But, we never felt like her presence was too much! She was only there exactly at the righttime. Unlimited soup and salad is such a great deal as well, only 8.99 per person and is exactly what it sounds like.Breadsticks as well. Thanks! Read more
