There are many fine Mexican themed restaurants in the area and On The Border never disappoints. The menu has a lot of good... options and the food is always prepared well at this location. We went here on Sunday evening. One of our friend was allergic to cheese and we asked the server if we can get cheese on only... one side of the plate and the server said that they can?t do that according to her Manager (but all other On the border branchhave been doing that for us). Then they served us the nachos with cheese on the side but only with beans as you can see inpictures. Everything else was okay but we didn?t like the way they handle our request for nachos. Lets start with the staff and service which was 5 Star. The person who showed us to our seat was extremely pleasant and our... server was great. The food came out fast and the order was correct. The adult beverages were also a 5 star, the beer was icecold and my wife had a strawberry margarita which was very good. Now for the food - 3 stars at best. The Birria Tacos were onthe dry side and the dipping sauce was very greasy. The Birria Tacos were served with a side of rice and refried beans, bothwere very bland. Placed order online. Arrived at designated time. No one was at the counter and no one came to the counter for more than 10... minutes. (I saw other people, a party of 3 walk out after waiting at an unattended hostess station). The pickup area was enoughthat I won?t visit again, if that little area can be that dirty I would not want to see the kitchen. The girl that brought myorder out was pleasant, this is not a reflection on the ?workers? this is a reflection on the management or mismanagement. Potentially the worst experience ever. From the beginning, restaurant didn?t even look open, service, cleanliness, food, plants... with pounds of dust on them,to everything you can think of. Rude staff, cold food, needed to practically beg for something assimple as napkins (which we never got) . Wont be back to this location, ever. I'll give it a 4 because the service was great and the food was good. If you are looking for good food in a nice environment... that reminds me of a franchise style place, then of course go here. The food looked consistent and was good. I prefer great,but theirs was very good so go and enjoy. See my pics and video but definitely go try it out for yourself!
