This joint has lots of positive Google reviews. There is a reason. The food and service is wonderful. Pic is one of their soups.

Had to wait about 45 minutes for a table during dinner rush on a Saturday (typical for a popular restaurant). Appetizers were... our favorite part! Eggs rolls and wonton soup were phenomenal. Entrees were average, they mixed up my wife’s Pad Thai butquickly made the correction. I would recommend this place to anyone who lives in the city but not really worth a long drive inmy opinion. Been eating at this spot for well over a decade. Been having a little renaissance and ate it several times the last three weeks.... Best Thai food I've had not only in the Twin Cities but across the country. The Laab Kai is a top five all-time MN restaurantdish to me. A consistent staple in my life. True comfort food, especially with the little veggie soup on the side. Bummed atmyself for not leaving a Google review earlier. Their semi-recent interior update is very nice and the chill tunes weregrooving. You can't go wrong here if you want the real. Worth the wait when they get busy. Read more

I love Raum Mit Thai! I had tofu in my pad Thai and removed the egg to make it vegan. Best pad Thai I've ever had. Idk what they... did to that tofu, but it was perfectly crunchy, and full of flavor! I've never had a dish I didn't like here. The server Colleenwas an absolute delight. The food came out in good time. The location could not be more convenient. We will be back soon to trydessert Read more

Amazing food! Best Thai restaurant in downtown St. Paul. Ordered the spring roll which was delicious and fresh as well as their... wontons. Definitely enjoyed their spring roll a lot more. Also got the siracha fried rice. One of the best fried rice I've hadand great spice. We ordered Tod Gratiam Prig Thai and Nua Pad Nam Manh Hoi. Came with great sauce bass and can customize it toyour own spice level. I would definitely come back here again! Read more

Food was 5 stars. Lowered one star for notable smell of gas. It was noticeable outside but more potent inside and clearly coming... from the kitchen. For this reason, we almost left before sitting down. Glad we stayed to eat. Might need to get the kitchenchecked out. The pad thai and Masman curry were great! Portions were generous! Read more
