Grabbed a burger and beer before the Loons match. Service was fast, friendly, and the food was delicious. Spent less on beers... and dinner for the two of us then we would have spent on one of us to eat at the game. Walked out the door and onto the greenline. They have a white bean sandwich that is to die for as a vegetarian! Served with carrots on the sandwich. Great happy hour and,... if you can, join for the jazz night which happens every first Thursday of the month. This is a unique experience well worthcoming for!!! Good service as well. Read more
Ok, wasn't expecting much since this place just recently reopened after COVID. We got the happy hour burgers. They had that... nice crust from the grill, were served on a buttered bun, and had sweet pickles. The pickles were a pleasant surprise. Thefries, which are separate, were enough for both of us and done perfectly. It was slow but the service was great, consideringwe were only 1 of 2 being served and it would be easy to hide from customers here if you wanted to. Came back a second time. Itwas just as good. I picked up lunch at Station 81 this afternoon and was blown away! It was quick and easy to order for take out and pick up but... more importantly it was one of the best spicy fried chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu. Read more
I?ve never heard of a restaurant or bar that sells wine, but not by the bottle. I used to work in restaurants for 25 years.... Selling wine by the bottle was our bread and butter!! If a couple ordered two glasses of wine, wouldn?t you just upsell to abottle? You bet. But not here. Here it?s only by the glass. Or so they say. Terrible service. It?s too bad, too, because I?m aresident of down town Saint Paul. Grateful I don?t work in service anymore. The manager couldn?t even come tell me herself. Shemade her poor wait staff tell me.
