Great prices and friendly staff. One of the few restaurants that I've been to recently that greeted me as soon as I walked in... the door. Great service, clean. Lunch specials are good and fair for the value. Charismatic cook makes the experience in full, joyful and... excited to great the many diverse people who visit the Best Steakhouse regularly. The western-theme fixtures and decor are alovely touch. Salad bar is clean and usually well stocked. The medium rare steak I ordered is usually cooked perfectly, and ofcourse keeps cooking after grilling. The cook is the soul of this restaurant! I had the 7.99 lunch 6oz fillet special. The fillet comes with a small salad bar, (lettuce, carrots, onions, cucumbers, green... peppers, tomatoes, grated cheese, croutons, etc...) a baked potato and Texas toast. I ordered French fries instead of baked, itis an extra charge. The salad is pretty good, fresh iceberg lettuce, and as I mentioned, a nice assortment of veggies, and gooddressing choices. The fries are hand-cut style and very good! So is the Texas toast! Okay about the steak, wasn't expectingmuch for the price but I couldn't even get through eating half of it. It was very tough, and a lot of gristle. I had to leavemost of it on my plate. The flavor on the parts that I could eat was fairly good. The restaurant was pretty full during lunchtime. It isn't a prime steakhouse but it is a popular place. I have eaten here a couple times a year for many years, andsometimes the steaks can be pretty tasty. Today my steak just wasn't good at all. I was quite disappointed with Ari?s Best Steak House after hearing such good things about it. Part of the issue might have been... that I didn?t order any steak. The toast and potato was good. The fish was bland (also didn?t come with any sauce) and the bbqribs were fatty. Also, when I ordered I was told salad would come as a side but I didn?t get any salad. When I went to pick upmy food it was a little confusing. For future reference, when you pick up food, walk all the way around the line and booths tothe cashier instead of waiting in line. After waiting in line I was told to go around to the cashier and wait there. Also, not abig deal but my order was late for pickup. Read more
