Ordered food 30 min before I got there, on 9-9 at 1020 pm, to pick up and still had to wait 25 additional minutes for my order.... There were ZERO ppl in this restaurant. They either need additional help or figure out why it takes 55 minutes to make 4entrees. No ppl coming in for takeout or delivery ppl coming in for food. Slooooowwwww as Heck. Great food, served accurately and with great quality. As others have mentioned, it’s a good portion of food, so you should be... satisfied and may even have leftovers. Staff was very friendly and helpful, really made for a great experience. Would highlyrecommend. Read more
I visited the Columbia, SC Urban Wok location on 7/13/22, and it was not a pleasant meal. I originally sent an email to the... email address provided in other reviews, but no feedback received, so adding as awareness on Google for others. Check was #73.The layout and atmosphere of the place is beautiful, nice, clean, and laid back. The Manager was nice as well, came to assist mewithout my asking, and explained some things on the menu, and how the ordering works as this was my 1st visit. Helpful, but alittle too invasive of my personal space as I ordered, came over twice, & I'm glad I was wearing a mask at the time as I'm veryafraid of catching Covid and he wasn't wearing one. Not saying he has or was spreading Covid, but cautiousness is anoverstatement for me in this day & age. The screen to order was kinda dirty and had spots on it also, and I immediately went towash my hands once I was done ordering. Wiping down the screens between the public ordering would be a big help tocleanliness! The order didn't take long at all, great plus. But NONE of the $40 worth of food we ordered was good. Veryunfortunate because I have been looking forward to trying this place since I saw the "coming soon" sign last year. The wingsordered were soggy, limp, and not good at all. The jalapeño rice, which was what I was most looking forward to try, was gross,mushy rice, and not good at all. The Noodle bowl was mushy, dry, and not tasty either. I added sauce thinking that'd help butnope, it didn't. The noodles were way over cooked, the chicken & steak in the noodles were edible and I was able to pick the fewout to enjoy, but ended up finding food at home to eat because the meal wasn't pleasing at all. $44.13 down the drain because Ihonestly couldn't eat anything besides the meat in the Noodle bowl. Half our order was missing then I opened what we did get (stir fry with extra/2nd protein) and it’s missing the chicken but... has the steak. I’ve never had bad service when I order from here so I was surprised. I called the store and an associate namedDarryl. He said I would see the credit in the morning, I hope I do and will gladly change this rating when/if it comesthrough. Edit: great customer service! Got an email from Mark stating the credit went through and got a promo code which I willdefinitely use. Again, this place has great food, just guessing it was an off night which is understandable! Stopped in for lunch. It was quick and easy to order at kiosks along the counter. I had Cilantro Lime Cauliflower Rice with... Steak and a variety of veggies. All of the ingredients were fresh and cooked perfectly! I chose the Spicy Peanut Sauce andBlackberry Habanero hot sauce. It was a little spendy but the food was delicious. All orders are done via tablet. No fountain drinks, and the bottled water came from Costco. Only two people working, one on the... wok and the other doing order prep. The employee behind the counter was too flustered to provide any customer service. Weeventually got our napkins and plasticware. We received our appetizer with our meal. All meals served in Chinese food boxes. Wehad to ask for our additional sauces that was missed for our order. Food was tasty and fresh. On street parking for thislocation in St Paul. Read more
Reliably good. Portions, in my opinion, are quite hearty, with a near guarantee of leftovers (for the create your own stir fry... bowl). Plenty of options to mix in, including interesting sauces, and added heat for those who want it. Have been pleased withLowertown location (food and staff) and while I have only done takeout they have a large, nice dine-in space. Read more
The food is ALWAYS delicious! The service on the other hand is a hit or miss. I has curbside pickup tonight well let's just say... I had to go in and pick it up MYSELF! I called inside 4X and they would NOT answer the phone! So WHY offer curbside if youreally are equipped to run the food out? #annoyed Read more
