I frequent this Taco Bell location as it is close to work. The usual service? Slightly below average, call it a C minus. I don't... mind waiting for food, sometimes there is a little bit of a wait, but that's okay. Quality of the food is decent, can be mushy,and the employees are not talkative. Regardless, I get it. Not the best location, but I come back because of the brand. On 11OCT 2022, I had the worst Taco Bell experience of my life. I pulled in around 2000 and waited for about 20 minutes before theline moved enough so I can order. At this point, I was genuinely okay with the wait as there was a 6, 7 car line. I ordered andwaited for a few minutes before I saw the lane started to move a little faster. I got up to the window, and the cashier wasleaning on the window, with back turned, using their cell phone. No hi, no wave, no care, nothing. Did not even want to get themoney for the order I just made. I thought it was a little rude, but okay, sure, not a problem, I'm thinking the usualshenanigans is in order (no pun intended.) Maybe they are slammed. Whatever. 20 minutes passed, and I honestly thought they werejust busy making the food. During all this time, I tried making eye contact with the employees, there were 3 in there from whatI could see, and no one cared. I heard them laughing and discussing stuff, but no one cared about my order, or the huge linethat formed behind me. From what I could see, the line circled all around the building all the way to Big Bend. At that point,I drove off and went to the Warson Woods Taco Bell, approximately 5 miles away, which was a 5 star service! I do hope themanagement of the Maplewood Taco Bell location takes my experience into consideration and improves the quality of service. It'spoor at the moment and is losing a lot of money for the owner. Read more

The store was really busy, but the staff remained calm and didn't get in the weeds. The kid who took our order and made the food... actually brought it right out to our table, and the young woman who was running food to drive-thru customers was quick andpleasant and made sure she got the right order to the right person. It took a while to get our food, but that wasn't becauseanyone was slacking; the crew worked like a well-oiled machine. Good job! Read more

It is dinner time and I ordered on my app. My name is Jamie and I ended up having a young girl wait on me. The place is... absolutely packed and she handled herself very well! She was doing such a great job! There was a lot of people who wanted dinnerand I feel like the place is lacking employees but that employee at the window who gave me my order and helped me it was verypleasant and I hope that they can keep her. Because I know that?s got to be very overwhelming having all of those people wantingdinner and not enough people to handle all of the workload. They never remember my sauce packets. But this is one of the best taco bells from here to Illinois. The food is on point And... served efficiently , idk if they use better ingredients or different distributors or what have you but it seems of betterquality. Read more

I was so excited when this location opened. They were great before covid, but ever since then they will NOT give you sauce. You... can ask for it at the speaker, then confirm at the window that it's in the bag. You can order delivery and beg the driver toplease make sure they get sauce and it never happens. I'm sure it's not the driver's fault. I'm sure the employees did they samething to them. After literally BEGGING people at the window to give you sauce, they will NOT. You have to go inside to get ityourself. This has happened 10-20 times. So I stopped going there. I have to have sauce. What's the deal? They wanna save moneyand lose customers while they're at it? I received the worst customer service. No hello or interaction at the window, items were left out of my bag. When I returned to... the store, the female employee that I flagged down had an attitude and stated that my food was just handed out because they werewaiting on an item and it was actually out of stock. No refund was offered, and as the person at the window only grabbed my cashand slammed the window until my order was ?ready?, nobody communicated that items I paid for were out of stock or that I wouldnot be receiving them. Waste of time and money. Just a heads up, this store has no cups, no sauces, is out of/not preparing manymenu items, and a very rude staff member running the front. Don?t waste your time. Read more

This Taco Bell consistently gets my orders right. The lines tend to be shorter and move faster than elsewhere, and the staff... here is great. I'm sure some of the other ones in the area area great too, but when I am craving Taco Bell, I come to this one,even if it is a little out of the way. Read more
