The Subway located in Maquoketa is by far the worse Subway I have dined in. Poor service, poor knowledge of how sandwiches... should be prepared, Unfriendly attitude from the staff. I ordered a BLT. She asked if I wanted the bacon heated or the sandwichtoasted. I asked for the sandwich with the bacon, provolone cheese and onions to be toasted. I then added tomato, lettuce, saltand pepper. When I sat down and took a bite of my sandwich the bacon was rubbery and almost raw (disgusting) I took it back upand showed them and said, In the future you should guide a customer like me through your process. If this sandwich presentsitself better by warming the bacon separately before toasting the sandwich I would have been okay with that. I come here to nothave to think about meal preparation. Redheaded young man wrapped my wrap very sloppy, cut it at such an angle it can't be eaten like a wrap and just falls apart. It... is cut like a triangle sandwich. He also puts all toppings in center of sandwiches and wrap. He did not apologize for how badthings looked or for how long it took him to do the process . Read more
I've been writing reviews on places for a while now.. And I recently gave Subway a mediocre Review . Mentioning how the wrong... veggies were put on the wrong sandwiches It wasn't really that big of a deal But I posted a video grave view anyway. Today Iordered lunch using the online app and I went in the owner came up to me and apologized personally about messing my order up Thelast time I was in there and gave me and gave me a free Subway voucher. having a bad day At work today in the kindness of theowner at Subway was something I needed I did it I want to thank her again and add that striving for perfection is something thatthis Subway insists on. I don't know how this place is open. Keep driving to the next town. I understand they're short on help. Just close it down.... Everything is dirty. Bread is rock hard. Toaster broken so they nuked my bro's entire sandwich for 2 minutes.. all of it.Windows and tables are obviously sprayed with something and never wiped down. Full of flies. The lettuce was brown. I'vehonestly never seen anything so bad. The only workers were 2 very young ladies. So I sure don't blame them! Read more
Girl forgot to cut my husband's sandwich in half and the other one didn't hear me say "eating here" 3 times and wrapped our... stuff to go. Always new young kids working there so I don't expect perfect. Food is always good though. Read more
