Food choices were definitely unique, great presentation but taste was mediocre. We tried lots of the recommendations and had an... array of appetizers, sushi, and both breakfast and lunch options. Phenomenal. Such an iconic spot. The location, the decor, the wait staff, the food… seriously one of the best experiences we... could have asked for!!! You can just feel the fun loving vibe as soon as you get out of your car and head to the front door.Greeted with a friendly staff member and seated immediately (we had reservations, definitely recommend even if it’s lastminute!) Our server was awesome got our drinks right away, suggested the Lionfish Tower appetizer and wow, that wasdelicious!!! Ate our fill with more Lionfish sushi, watched the divers on the big screen and could not be any more content, butfinished our dinner off with a slice of key lime pie! We heard great things about this hidden gem in Marathon and it did not disappoint. Though many come here for other dishes, we... stuck to their outstanding sushi. Probably the freshest sushi I've had in some time. Crab Rangoon was insane! Highly recommendthis delicious spot. Table for 7 please. Nice restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. You can get there by car or by boat. Sorry I don't... recall if they had a lot of slips for boats or not. Everything they make is fresh and very good. The server we had was veryupbeat and friendly but the service itself was slow. We ordered a few appetizers the same time we ordered our dinners. Ourappetizers, soup and salads all came out quickly. Two of us got a bowl of french onion soup which was way over seasoned,especially for soup. None of us will order it again. The dinners themselves felt like they'd never come out. When they finallyarrived they had given my fish dinner to somebody else and his to me. Unfortunately we didn't realize that until he ate most ofhis piece of fish. They were very apologetic and brought me another piece of fish but it again took forever to get. The sweetpotatoes were under cooked so we sent those back and got baked potatoes instead. Everything we ordered was delicious, most of usordered some type of fish and one ordered the ribs. A few of us ordered the rum punch which was good but not very strong. Nexttime I will order a beer. We ordered our dessert to go which was delicious. We got a few slices of key lime pie, a slice ofcoconut key lime pie and a piece of coconut cake. The only disappointment of the desserts was the salted carmel cheesecake.There wasn't much cheesecake in it. It was very good just lacking the best part. "Castaways, we are castaways" this will be on repeat in your head the entire time....but it's great! Fun vibes and great... service. Once the sunset goes down you'll want to finish your night off as a castaway at Castaways ???? Ask for Christine asyour bartender...she offers great life advice and is super friendly ???? 10/10 would recommend and 10/10 will be back again! Stopped here on the way to key west. The shrimp and grits was amazing and very hardy. Wife loved her veggie omelet. Mimosas were... only $3 at the time. The Bloody Wilson was a great twist on the traditional bloody merry but not too over the top. Our serverwas very nice and helpful. Would love to stop by sometime later at night, seemed like a great place to hangout for drinks. Read more

Great place. Great food. Great bar. Service and kitchen was slow but we had a group of 11 so that's probably the reason. They... offered sushi with a hot dog, which is wild to me but some folks really enjoyed it. I tried the Shrimp Reuben and it wasdelicious.
