You literally just have to follow your nose to this place. The line moves fairly quick but they'll make sure you get a drink... while you wait. The food was amazing and the staff are phenomenal. This place is special. Read more

Quick friendly service with brisket that is top tier, especially considering the state, location & the altitude these folks slow... smoke these delicious meats at is amazing. Tender juicy fall apart brisket. A bit on the fatty side for my personal serving butthat?s what makes the flavor really pop. I would have liked a better fat ratio on the beef, but dang good delicious. Friendlyservice with a smile. These folks welcomed us so fast and had our table of 4 seated in under 2 minutes on a Saturday @ noon.Amazing. Food came out hot. Okra was ok (cornmeal breaded) not the family personal fav, but good! Would highly recommend thisspot if you are in Marble. Looks like they have a popping To-go option. And doggo friendly. What a gem in the heart of Marble. Read more

We have lived on the Western Slope since 2015 and never made the drive to Slow Groovin?. Then covid hits and backs us off a... spell. Finally, today we made it. Beautiful drive over McClure pass. Leaves just beginning to turn. Amazing setting in theMarble Valley with fabulous views in every direction. Less than 20 minute wait, even as busy as they were. We ordered two familyplates with all the meat except the salmon. Beans and coleslaw. Prior to the meal we had the Hillbilly Nachos and some BurntEnds. Damn fine meal. Friendly and attentive service. Well worth the drive. We?ll be back again before winter closing for sure.Sorry it took us this long. Read more

I've been up here a couple times, as a truck driver, to pick up marble from the quarry. This is already one of the most... beautiful locations I've ever been in. Then there's this place. Slow Groovin BBQ. With all fresh ingredients, this is handsdown, the best food I've ever had. I tell everyone, this is truly a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere, totally worth it. I'vetold my wife about my experience, and we decided to drive the 5 and a half hours, spend a weekend here, for our 17th weddinganniversary. It doesn't get any better than this: the most beautiful girl, and the most beautiful location, eating the mostbeautful food... Read more

Love this place! We stopped here as a half-way point for lunch while doing some off-roading from Crested Butte via Schofield... Pass. The food was great - certainly the best BBQ my husband and I have had! I had the brisket with fried okra and my husbandhad the pulled pork sandwich. Portions were hearty and service was friendly and wonderful. The chocolate chip cookies (baked toorder so they come out nice and warm) were a perfect dessert after our feast. Also, best cornbread I've had. We also enjoyedhanging out with Brisket -- Slow Groovin's adorable, four-legged mascot -- on the patio while we waited for a storm to pass by.They also sell rubs and hot sauces as well -- my husband has been loving the "Control Burn" hot sauce we took home (p.s. to SlowGroovin' -- do you mail out your merchandise? I'm sure my husband is going to miss the hot sauce once he goes through ourbottle!). Highly recommend, worth a stop! Read more

Good vibes! Food was pretty good. My only feedback on the blue cheese mac is the absence of blue cheese. With the caramelized... onions (sweet), a bigger presence of the blue cheese would have been amazing! It was still great though... over all good foodand a good time! Read more

I can't remember the last I had ribs so tender, juicy, and tasty, and thebpulled pork with their gold rush Carolina bbq sauce is... just fantastic. The staff was very polite, and friendly. Then there's just the beautiful surrounding views from the balcony. Adefinite must stop and try. Read more

Just finding it is an experience. Marble is awesome. I am not always a fan of smoked meats, but all of these are beyond top... notch. None of that fake liquid smoke taste. Mac and Cheese was fabulous. Great beer and wine options. Some gift stuff too. Indoor and outdoor seating. Note: closed from END Of October until May. Don't drive there in the winter!! Go to Propaganda Piein Redstone. Read more
