Stopped by for a quick Saturday lunch while visiting Marble Falls. Primarily came for the view and to enjoy the outdoors. It... was early, so there wasn't a wait for an outside table. There are about 8 outside tables that are on the fully covered patio. It provided a nice view of the Colorado River and the various water activities going on. Server immediately came over for drinkand appetizer orders. Started off with the Green Chile Queso & Fresh Salsa and the Jalapeno Margarita. Both came out within 5minutes. The jalapeno margarita was perfect as it had a nice balance of spicy jalapeno, alcohol, and sweet & sour. Was in themood for a light meal, so ordered the Grilled Steak Salad and the BK Salad. Both contained a generous amount of freshingredients. They were both good, but I slightly preferred the BK salad because of the sweetness and crisps of the apples andpecans. Really nice restaurant with super sweet staff that were really friendly. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table, but it... didn't feel that long. The food was really good. Commented on how good the burgers were and my wife really liked the ReubenSandwich. The view was also really nice, but I forgot to get a picture of that. You'll just have to go and see for yourself. This was my 1st time visiting River City Grille. The best part about the visit, (besides meeting my parents there), was the... views. The restaurant sits "on the water", hence the name, RIVER City Grille. We sat inside due to the humidity that day but thenext time I go, provided the weather cooperates, I'd like to sit outside. I ordered the fish tacos & substituted the ???? for????. The tacos weren't bad, but I've had better, much better. The ???? was on the bland side. I likely would not order theseitems again as there are other on the menu I'd like to try. The peach tea was good, the staff members that we encountered wereall friendly, & the table service was also good. We did have to wait quite a while, for a table even though the lobby was farfrom full. We were quoted 30 min & it was close to that, give or take, before we were seated. There may have been 3 other"families" waiting at the same time we were. However, this was on Easter Sunday so it's possible they were short staffed. Read more
One of my top 3 restaurants to eat when visiting Marble Falls. The food I have to say is quite delicious. On my last visit I had... Paul's Chicken which was a piece of chicken dipped in a mild fresh green chile salsa and convered with crushed potato chips. Thetaste was delicious and certainly original. What I also really enjoyed was the beautiful outdoor patio. The views are amazing!Service was good and the staff was very friendly. I definitely recommend you eat here. There can be a little bit of a wait timeduring the weekends, but nothing to worry about. Read more
Had a small group of friends join me for lunch on a Friday. We were able to be seated promptly. They offer a wide-ranging menu,... we enjoyed the salads.The seating is indoors in both dining and bar areas, as well as a substantial deck seating arrangement.Full bar is available for those inclined. Atmosphere is pleasant and casual and service was very good. My steak salad was agenerous portion with delicious tender steak and lots of toppings and crisp lettuce. My friends enjoyed the chicken salad andall agreed that it was good eating. Parking is generous out front, and the venue has a lovely view of the lake and bridge inMarble Falls. A good choice for a pleasant meal or cocktails. Read more
We were surprised that all the handicap spots were full, but there was plenty of room in the parking lot. The restaurant has... both indoor and outdoor seating. Both the chips and the rolls were fresh from the fryer/ oven. Everyone enjoyed what they ate,including dessert... but I forgot to photograph it. Read more
Amazing! Amazing! Amazing food. This is a must eat. Not only is the food amazing but the prices are reasonable. I had the Cobb... salad with the home made ranch salad dressing and it was amazing...not one complaint. The chicken was tender and delish. Thepork chops melted in your mouth, the bacon burger is as good as it can get with thick cuts of bacon and the Ruben was like aburst of flavor. I gave four stars because the chicken fried steak had no flavor at all and the broccoli was bland. The servicesucked but that was because we were in the bar tenders section. It too her 18min just to get us water but once we got the waterthe food was out quick and hot. I would still go back to this restaurant again. It's worth it. Read more
We come here at least once every summer when we go through Marble Falls to take my son to and from summer camp. The food is... classic American comfort food, the cocktails are excellent and the staff are efficient and friendly. If you aren't bothered bythe heat, sit outside overlooking the river. Inside is always air-conditioned and comfortable. Fish tacos, burger and onionrings were all good, as was the chocolate cake. We look forward to our annual visit for the ambiance and experience andrecommend this place for lunch or dinner! Read more
