There were 6 in our party. We were seated right away, and placed our order with 10 min. of being seated. We then waited for a... solid hour for our food to arrive. The sweet potato fries (3 separate order) were ALL very overcooked and lukewarm, at best. Thewalleye meal was terrible. It was not pan seared (as the menu described) but was most likely broiled and had no flavorwhatsoever - any hint of a Parmesan crust was no more than some canned Parmesan sprinkled on & then placed under warmer to melt.The server was good, and tried to help by checking in on us frequently & telling us it shouldn?t be much longer. She alsobrought us a fresh, warm order of sweet potato fries when we asked. Very disappointing overall. Read more
Must say, we had a wonderful, tasty experience at The Rock last night. Took a friend for his birthday celebration. He said The... Rock open face steak sandwich was as good as he has ever had. And the Snickertini was so delicious he ordered a second! Thesteak was perfectly cooked and given what has happened to restaurant prices lately may be one of the best dining values around. Clearly there were lots of returning customers. They know a good thing when they see it. Read more
Went here to celebrate my husband's birthday. We had excellent food and service. They were very busy. We filled the last... table. Although we had a bit of a wait between order and food, we weren't in a hurry so we enjoyed visiting, our drinks and theambiance. Food was somewhere between good and great. Pricing was a bit steep for what you get. Service was a hassle from beginning to end.... Maybe he was just new. I'd try it one more time before deciding whether or not to return a third time. Read more

Not a variety of food for picky eaters. It's more of a tourist attraction than just a good place to go with a friend for a quick... meal. I would consider it date night prices. I tried the fish tacos plain. They were beyond good. The chorizo and chips wereworth a try. The Alfredo I liked but didn't like that it didn't have any chicken. Just noodles and sauce. The staff is veryfriendly but I haven't heard good things about the Owner and I don't like supporting owners with a bad reputation. Read more
This was my 2nd visit to The Rock at Big Fish Lake, and the 1st visit was not a fluke, as the food and service were top notch.... Our server on this visit was very attentive Lo. My wife and I split the Three Cheese Tortellini, adding an additional sidesalad. We should have split the salad as well since it was rather large. Large enough that we could only eat about half of theTortellini. We opted to try the carrot cake for dessert, and true to form, it was huge. The carrot cake was very good,perfectly moist, but not too moist. The frosting was also very good. We could only get half way through the dessert aswell.
