Asked some Maricopa locals where's a good place to eat at a mom and pop restaurant. That we were on a motorcycle ride and... Hungry. The service and the presentation of the food was was on point. The food was good, portions were just right. I had the chicken fried steak it was cooked and topped of with gravy that was on... point. My wife had there breakfast special again portion was great. The reason for 3 stars is that when you walk in the carpetsmells. We had a fly bathing in our coffee. Some of the staff could be a little more friendly. This used to be a great local place to always get good food. That?s drastically changed. It?s no longer clean or inviting. ... You stick to the benches when you sit down. The fries are heated and limp, not crispy or fresh, burgers are reheated and notgrilled. Hubby ordered soft flour tortillas and received soft corn, did not get the extra order for an additional taco. Refriedbeans were tasty and salsa had a kick. We used to go there on a regular basis, no more. Read more
Not good. Have been giving this place chances to redeem itself but today was the last straw. The only thing good was the iced... tea & salsa (very spicy but good taste.). Stale chips with the salsa. They tried to passing some sort of omelet thing as aChilli Rellano, absolutely gross. The Carne asada was over marinaded in lime/lemon making it difficult to eat. The dish wassupposed to come with beans and rice but didn't- they did put rice and beans on another dish and those didn't appease as well.None of us finished any of the food. They never asked how anything was, just took the card from my hand to take payment. Read more
Small cozy place... They have about 15 tables total but what i loved is the fact they kept the original Maricopa decor very... country style. The service was good. Friendly staff and attentive. The food portions are huge. You can easily share. Greattaste but ALOT of cheese. Price range you pay for what you get ALOT of food... The tables have local business cards good to seethey support businesses in the area. Read more
Breakfast was DELICIOUS! Huevos rancheros were great, do ask for the salsa to put on it. Pancake was delicious and edges were... crissspy which I love!!! Highly recommend this place for breakfast and good Mexican food! Great local restaurant. Read more
