Ate here recently and everything was amazing! The bartender Aidan was so nice and helped pick out great cocktails and menu... items. The manager stopped by and made sure we had a wonderful night. First time dining here, though I've been a local resident for 5+ years. The prime rib I had was top-notch. Also ordered the... creamed spinach which was just the right amount of cheese, cream, and veggie. My dining partner (if that is the acceptable wayof referring to her these days) had the GA trout and thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved the atmosphere, was like being in a lodge inMontana somewhere. It's probably been 10-15 years since I've been to Aspen's. Used to be a regular and always enjoyed it. Decided to take another... visit for some surf n turf and was not disappointed. Service was 5 star. Our waitress was stellar and they had others removingplates and refilling water. Everyone was attentive, but not obsessive, and super nice. The chopped salad was great, crab cakefresh and delicious, filet and lobster prepared perfectly. Sampled my friend's prime rib and it was great as well. My onlycomplaint would be some of the sides were a bit boring, creamed spinach was not very creamed and the mushrooms tasted like theydidn't get even butter or a pinch of salt. Not bad, just not the caliber of the other dishes. Chocolate bread pudding fordessert was great as well. I wouldn't quite give them 5 stars but they deserve more than 4 so I'll bump it up for the fantasticservice. Definitely worth a visit. Read more

Here’s the thing. The amount of food We received in contrast to the price is a joke. We used to be weekly patrons at Aspens. I... can say we will never return. We got ripped off. The amount of food we receive is worth maybe 30.00 dollars…. Maybe. DearAspens management, I wish you the best. You just lost a few customers. To be fair, I did nit call to complain. I felt I didn’tneed to do that. If they felt this could be served and shipped out the door, then there’s no need to call. Want my advise, gosomewhere else. And this is coming from someone who doesn’t mind paying good money for good food. This was superupsetting. Steak frites were 26.00. It’s mostly fries. The medallions were 38.00…. Um, yeah.. no. I loved the calamari. The shrimp and grits tasted good but it could use more grits. I liked the spinach more than the macaroni... and cheese side. The servers were warm and welcoming. Overall, a great experience for my birthday. Read more
