I bought some pastries, they were very old and not tasty, it is better not to order coffee here either. Breakfast eggs was good.

Wonderful lunch on the square in Marietta. Lovely day to sit outside and enjoy a pastie from this shop. My burgundy beef had a... tender light crust with sesame seeds and poppy seeds on the top crust, great flavor. My husband had the steak, cheese and baconpastie and it was also a great choice. Both served with homemade chips that were seasoned nicely, but would have been a knockoutif they were fresh from the toaster. Read more
Their fish and chips are the best!! Hot, crispy batter with flaky well-seasoned fish inside - perfectly cooked - absolutely... yummy and made me feel like i had stepped back home to London for a moment! Don't forget to try their pies - yummy! They alsohad a little section of English and Australian groceries that had some great finds! The staff were wonderfully kind andpatient...we got there less than an hour before closing and they didn't skimp on the service even though it was close to themgoing home. My Mom and I got Cornish and veggie pasties and they were delicious! Flaky pastry, good seasonings, filling meal. The atmosphere... is fun, lots of Aussie pride, and a tiny "market" of good from down under. Not a lot of seating (or parking around the square,depending on what time you go). This place offers breakfast, lunch and, dinner all day long. Customer service was good. The food is authentic. There is a... section for international bakery and grocery items. The location is quaint and a little cluttered. We will definitely return totry other menu items. I had the Ned Kelly pie and my wife had the Cornish. I love the homemade breading. I wish I had taken more photos. The staff "IS" super nice, funny, and friendly. This store came as a recommendation and I was... not disappointed. I tried an Aussie meat pie, vanilla slice, and a spread called vegemite. Very impressed. A must visit!!!!! And the best of all.... The owner... He is everything southern hospitality is.
