The oxtail was Falling off the bones when it was served. The vegetable was Seasoned properly and decent portion.
For quite some time now, I?ve given this place multiple chances and every time they seem to disappoint me. First and foremost,... this place isn?t horrible but it could be a lot better. In my opinion, on a scale from 1 - 10, I give them a 5 on a good day.There are days when the rice is under cooked or burned, they don?t have curry goat or oxtail, or everything is just completelysubpar. Surprisingly, when I asked why don?t they ever have certain things, the response was ?because someone didn?t make it for3 - 4 days (by choice and/or the lack of wanting to).? However, there are days when the food is just okay. While I do not expectevery Jamaican restaurant to be great, this particular one could be a whole lot better. Furthermore, the customer service is notany better. As if there were not enough issues in regard to the food, there is a main girl that works the register and herattitude is horrible and I do not understand how she still works there. I find this very upsetting being that this is the onlyplace close enough to me that sells island food, but I would much rather do without than to continue to be disappointed by theplace. Read more
Amazing well seasoned food
Ordered the chicken jerk, which came with rice and beans, and cooked cabbage. It was okay, but I probably will not come back.... The spice on the chicken seemed very light and not very authentic like what I've eaten in Jamaica. I chose to dine it but it wasstill served in a styrofoam to-go box. At 16.00 with a beverage, I did not feel it was much of a value, for the small portion Ireceived. 3/4 of the container was rice, only got about 1 small piece of chicken, which was rough chopped and had a dozen bonesplinters all through my chicken. I had to eat it very carefully, so as not to swallow any bone splinters. Chicken was dumped inbox over the rice, and so the rice also had bone fragments in it also. Not impressed, won't be back. My husband loved the jerk chicken and the veggie plate (pictured) was good. No wait at lunch time!

4.2 stars... I think it should be a perfect 5 ????Somebody is back in that kitchen making magic. I had to get two different... plates because I couldn?t decide. Curry goat or stew chicken? The goat is sooooo tender and seasoned PERFECTLY. The meat is nottough like a lot of places I?ve been to. The white rice has the perfect flavor. I?m so glad I found this place. Read more
