This place was wonderful! My husband and I have passed a sign on 75 advertising this restaurant and have wanted to try it for a... few weeks. Today was the day! I ordered the chicken fried chicken with gravy, fried okra, fries, and Texas toast. My husbandordered country fried steak, Mac & cheese, fries, and Texas toast. Chicken and dumplings were amazing. Wings were to die for. Owner Nick was very friendly, checked on every table multiple times.... Service was excellent. Prices were reasonable especially given the cost of food now. Would recommend to everyone. Read more

I get excited about small town diners and this place checks all the boxes. Very friendly staff, bottomless drinks/coffee,... really fun combinations of dishes (ask about getting your meal "Down Home). The food is amazing. The reason I love diners isbecause it's a place where they work with the same dishes day in and day out and that experience is reflected in the flavor. Ihad a fried chicken and waffles that was expertly prepared. Just right chicken filet with the perfect amount of breading, wellseasoned. The waffle wasn't anything to write home about, but done well. The experience was so wonderful. Prices are decent forwhat your getting and the quality of the food is amazing. I've lived here 9 years and I don't know why I haven't come herebefore, I guess it didn't pop up on my searches but it's well worth your time and a great place to spend your money. Read more
Update - Not happy with their Thanksgiving Meal. I don't recommend it. Over $50 for one person (not including delivery or tip).... Maybe it was just a fluke. --- Update - Came back and tried the grilled boneless pork chop, coleslaw, and green beans. SUPERB. --- Just moved to Kennesaw and really enjoyed lunch here. This is the beef tips with rice, collard greens, and butterbeans. Super friendly service, pleasant dining area, and extensive menu. Will be back soon. Read more
