If the service wasn?t consistently so slow (even in comparison to all other restaurants during COVID) this would easily be one... of our favorites. Instead we only go after forgetting about the service and then leave saying why did we go back. Disappointing the owner can?t put it together because the food is really good. Read more

Won't be visiting WZ Tavern anymore. Every time my wife and I try this place, the service is really slow and the food usually... comes out cold. I understand things like this happen in this industry which is why we've given it a few chances, but it happensway too much here. It happened again tonight, but in addition to the food being cold, the waitress didn't even get my orderright. And it all started when the hostess forgot to seat us (there was a fifteen minute wait) and she seated another familythat arrived after we did. She literally told us that she forgot about us. No more chances. Read more

Picked up to go tonight. I repeated my order twice over the phone to make sure everything was right. I got home and things were... wrong. 1. No mozzarella sticks even though she repeated it. I wasn?t charged though? 2. Trio did didn?t come with quesobecause they were out. I wasn?t told this until my food was handed to me. Would have been nice to know before hand. The pico sheoffered to sub it with was bad. Tomatoes in it were full of water and flavorless (meaning it sat in the fridge too long, aka notfresh) 3. Chicken sandwich didn?t have the buffalo ranch sauce I asked to have on it. Very bland. When I told her she said?well there is no up charge for it so??. My food was made incorrectly! You forgot something and therefor it?s not what Iordered. That?s like ordering a burger and then forgetting the toppings, oh well! ?Sir you only payed for a burger?. We havelived in east Cobb for over 20 years and wanted to give this place a shot, very disappointed though. To-go order pickup wasalso very confusing. Read more

I really like this place (until the old Keegan?s/East Cobb Tavern returns) and their taps are good, but as of 9/25/22, they have... an EXTREMELY limited menu (date printed is wrong on paper menu)?literally 5 things. Not sure if it?s staff related or justdistribution for food. Just weird and May be a sign of the times. Read more

My husband liked his wings but had to drink my water since we never got more. I ordered the street tacos with shrimp which is... supposed to come with "cilantro onion" and "avocado salsa". I got shrimp and lettuce in tortilla. We ordered tater tots with myson's kids meal but when food came out, our server said they were making more tots but opted to just send my son's kids meal outwith 5 tots and to let them know if we wanted more? There was also a dog barking non-stop on patio so it sounded like we were ina kennel inside. The place was empty so no noise to drown it out. Read more

Awful takeout experience. Food was overcooked. Salad lettuce was brown. They forgot the only side we ordered. Had to come back a... second time for the to only find out the fries were stale. The take out experience is awful as well. Front desk tells you to goto the bar, the bar tells you to go to the other end of the bar, the end of the bar tells you to go to this other table in thecorner of the restaurant. Read more

Despite being short staffed, James provided great service and we enjoyed our dinner. The beer cheese with the pretzel bites is... fantastic, along with the candied bacon. That bacon is probably a crime. And the mozzarella sticks are good. Solid food. Wortha visit if you're in East Cobb! Read more

Please don?t give your business to WZ Tavern; just take a moment and read the reviews on Google and Yelp and you?ll see this is... not the place you want to go to. I should have known better when I saw the empty patio on Father?s Day ( see attached picture)but we took a chance anyways because my father-in-law said they have a variety of wing flavors here. We wanted to watch thegame 7 of the NBA Playoffs with my wife, in laws and our dog who is a registered service dog. We sat down in the patio which wascompletely empty, not a single person there and our waitress came by and she was polite and nice and even asked to pet our dog.We informed her we wanted to watch the game and she quickly changed the channel for us. Two seconds later the host walks outsideand informs us the manager said we can?t have our dog in the patio. We informed her he?s a registered service dog and showed hiscredentials to her and she said no problem and walked in. Two seconds later the hostess walks out again and says the managerinformed her it doesn?t matter if the dog is registered they don?t allow dogs in the patio and if we wanted to stay there, therewere tables on the side walk for us. We got up and took our business somewhere else. See attached picture of empty patio. Myadvice to the ownership is to get new management. Instead of worrying about registered service dogs at your patio, worry aboutthe 80/100 health score you got and the several violations that were listed in there. And maybe read all the horrible reviewsthat everyone posts for you, maybe then your patio would not be empty on Father?s Day. Read more
