This place is so down to earth while feeling like your truly being taken care of. I was in Marietta for training with Peoples... bank, and several days lunch and dinner were catered by the galley. We always do lunch and dinner from locally owned shops aspart of our way of giving back to the community. If your guessing whether or not you should go GO! It is well worth the trip.The food was incredible, I had the chicken with broccoli, mashed potatoes, gravy and capers. The service was also amazing. We went the same night that Trace Adkins was performing around the corner, and the service was excellent?in spite of the crowd!... Food was delicious and served piping hot. Most of the time the burger is cooked to perfection; so much so, we have tipped the chef on more than one occasion! Today's... burger came out under-cooked. Then when it was sent for a redo, the burger came out over-cooked. They did remove it from mybill, but I just wanted the yummy burger I am used to. Read more

Incredible! My husband & I were in a layover and this place was recommended by our front desk personnel. We didn't quite know... what to expect, not being from the area... from the service, the overall atmosphere, reasonable pricing, to impeccablecuisine... this place exceeded anything we could have expected! What's so great about The Galley is that it can be a great, romantic little date night spot or a laid back spot for a great meal, or a nice place to just come to the bar for some drinks. Excellent place and meal! I can?t say enough about this place. We had a wonderful time. Our server was top notch. We were... early for our reservation on a Saturday night and the restaurant quickly accommodated us it was crowded and busy). The food wasspectacular! I had the chili and the Brussels sprouts. One daughter had the seafood pasta. The wife had a delish salad. Myonly complaint of the night is NONE. The server didn?t miss a beat. One thing to note if you dining with a bread lover like mychild is, they warm it up before they serve it. It kept the server running for more for a while. Nice staff great atmosphere. Watched a few bands play and they were awesome. I gave the food 4 of 5 stars because yhe prices are... a bit ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, the food was great. But $30+ for 4 pieces of decent size chicken, 1 scoop of mashpotatoes, small garden salad and a $6 tip. And that was i think the cheapest. It was eveni g time on a Friday, their lunch menulooked really good on the type of food and the prices. But like most other restaurants, here you couldn't order off the lunchmenu past a certain time. I would say this is a ^"High middle"^ to ^"high class"^ price restaurant. Read more
