Great view. Awesome location. Delicious food. Our server was kind enough to give us shaded place from the Sun. Unfortunately the... other server took the shade away, hence the heat of the Sun directly on our face. Very insensitive. Common sense, nobody wantsto eat where the heat of the Sun directly on our eyes. We had to talk sense to the Latina server & she admitted they took itaway. Hence the 3 stars. Servers need to use common sense if the Sun scorching the customer, offer them shaded place thatavailable. Plain & simple. After all it is a customer service industry!! Read more

The food here was wonderful! The vibe and ambiance was very welcoming. It felt like we were guests at someone else’s home... rather than visitors at a restaurant. The order of our meal was mixed up and the chef personally came out and gave us a freedessert. It was amazing! The service was very genuine and friendly. We had a wonderful time here. My only negative critique isthat the Avocado toast was very nasty; too much going on with the ingredients. Not a single complaint about anything else. Istrongly recommend this place! I went here early morning, around 8:30 am, and the restaurant has a peaceful and good vibe inside and outside. Our foods were... incredibly delicious and fresh! Not impressed with this establishment. First off, you have to pay for parking so $5 to self park and $7 for valet, i valeted... with no issues, the valet team is very professional and kind. I came here expecting to get some work done on my laptop, but theatmosphere was full of extremely loud and obnoxious patrons, there were a ton of teenagers there and they were more behaved thanthe adults. I sat myself in the bar area but was never greeted. After figuring out what I wanted I approached the bar and wasimmediately served. I asked for the farmers garden salad and for it to be topped with salmon. The “salmon” I got was fairlydry and tasted like tuna. I was starving and at it anyway. I had to take a call but it was so loud I had to step out of therestaurant to have a proper conversation. I was still very hungry since the portions here are small (and the prices are not) soI also ordered the ceviche. It was the laziest presentation of ceviche I have ever seen. The green sauce it was covered in wasphenomenal, but again it was a very small portion and everything was roughly chopped and was not like any ceviche I ever hadbefore. For the price I was paying I was very disappointed in the portions and quality of food I received. The service wasfairly quick but I had to go out of my way to be noticed, always having to approach the bar to order anything and pay my bill. Isaw a few other patrons approach the bar to pay their bill as well because they couldn’t locate their server. I do hope thisestablishment makes the experience better for the price we pay to eat here. Maybe I’ll give this place another try in thefuture but so far I would not recommend this place unless you’re staying at the hotel. Read more

Came here for my friend's birthday! The food was pretty good, prices were alright. We liked the mussels and salmon a lot but... everything we ordered was good. We had 6 people so there was a 20% added gratuity fee. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to tip ontop of that but I did anyway. Thinking now, I think I probably didn't have to? Absolutely the worst food I’ve ever paid for. I hate waste, I usually will no matter what take my leftovers for the homeless... at the very least. I couldn’t eat nor would I feed any of the food here to a homeless person. Way overpriced, the pics heremust be over 10 years old. It’s a Walmart collection of employees and visitors. Bathrooms are disgusting and I suggest youlook up when you pull up in valet. This place is just rundown and I have no idea how they ever kept a higher rating. Read more

We actually dined here twice during our stay at the Jamaica Bay Inn. This is a very nice restaurant for what is considered a... 3-star hotel. I was shocked at how nice this restaurant is. Absolutely beautiful outdoor seating area with amazing views ofMother’s Beach and the Marina. We really enjoyed having breakfast on the patio and watching the Marina come alive withactivity. I would recommend this restaurant even if you aren’t staying at the hotel. Pro tip: order the half dozen freshbaked cookies from their desert menu they are so worth it! Super Pro Tip: you can make a reservation using OpenTable foranytime of the day. We made reservations for dinner one night and breakfast the next morning. We never had to stand aroundwaiting for a table. Read more
