It was the first time that I had the classic barbecue chicken pizza, which was excellent. Thin-ish crust, a bit crispy, but not... too much so. Chicken was cut up into smaller pieces that were easy to chew. Nice BBQ sauce and cheese base. My wife had thechicken piccata on pasta. She enjoyed it so much that she finished it. She did give me a sample, and it was excellent. Tenderchicken in a lovely sauce, on perfectly cooked thin pasta. I understand why this particular store gets such positive reviews. Wesat on the patio, and the headlights from parking lot traffic were irritating at times, but not enough to detract from ourconversation and meal. Read more

This place has really gone downhill over the last few months. We have a new baby in the house and my wife and I place pickup... orders. They are notoriously wrong. A chicken Cesar comes with out the chicken, a roasted veggie salad comes with only lettuce.Every time we have to point it out or find out when we get home. We can’t ever seem to be able to have a meal together that iscorrect. How hard is it to read the ticket and place the correct order in the bag? We are visiting LA, california from Eastern PA. We decided to come out for dinner at this location. The food was fantastic, but... the server (Lawrence) but very subpar. We were barely checked in on, he stated that the card machine had problems so we had topay in cash (which is always very sketchy), and asked another server in front of us that if he started at 4, was he able toleave at 9.. she even seemed uncomfortable with that question. He appeared to rather be anywhere else and didn't care about hisjob at all... which is fine, but that's his problem and not ours to havea bad experience. I did call after we left and was onhold for about 5 minutes to speak to a manager and he also seemed very disinterested in the feedback I gave. This was our second visit to this restaurant and I have to say unfortunately it wasn't as great as the first. Food wise it is... just ok in regards to pizza. I got the Hawaiian and it literally was on par with a pizza my kids make when we have a familypizza night. Now that's not bad, obviously the pizza tastes fresh and was cooked properly. But for the price I'd expect to beblown away with flavor and cheese and plenty of toppings. But my reaction was this is a fresh ok tasting pizza, but notamazing. Also, my wife asked for no cilantro on her order and they botched that. The chef took the cilantro off and thensquirted extra sauce on top to cover up the taste, which didn't work by the way. The mishap made her pizza also look like onethat my kids make on pizza night. Service was pretty good, lemonade was also great. But overall I can only give 3 stars forthe subpar pizza. Personally I would have rather had a pineapple/pepperoni pizza from Domino's. Read more

I don't know what they did, maybe they changed management, but CPK is back in the Marina the way it should be--perfect. We have... ordered there so many times now I have lost count and each and every time our order is perfect and the service is great. Wehave not eaten inside much, but when we do the service is friendly and fast and the food great. We have been doing CPK takeaway at least 10 times in the past few months. It is that good. We call it in or just walk in. The manager there is so great. Ifthere is the slightest problem, they are on it right away. They tell us when to pick up and it is hot and ready the minute weget there. All of their take away is as good as eating there, and that is not usually my experience with a lot of other takeaways. We love all of their pizza and now have been through the entire menu of pizza. We have not tried the cauliflower doughand never will, just not our thing. The five cheese is so great and the shrimp pizza and Thai pizza are some of ourfavorites. We also love their bread and they give you plenty if you ask, I do and I get extra and it is so good. It is alwaysfresh. Their pastas are also very good. We especially love all of their salads. Try their chopped or Italian or Caesar. Justwow. This is now our favorite CPK and we are so open to be able to go local again. So go there. Read more
The staff members were incredible. Host was very gracious and went extra mile to ensure we were accommodated forms start to end.... Servers were very knowledgeable and made the entire experience unforgettable. CPK is a great restaurant but because of the teammembers who are dedicated to their patrons! Read more
