Well the name says it all, and if that's what you are looking for you have found the right place. I have worked in the service... industry for years, worked with and around a lot pizza from a lot of different states around the United States. Anything fromyour frozen grocery store section, back alley pizza windows, music festival spicy pies, bar pies, all the way up to fine dining- I've tried a lot of it, from a traditional sense and everything in-between. Some good, some not so good but usually stilledible cause pizza at one time or another was consumed just because of the association with it being a special day. Very fewleave an everlasting impression. I am here visiting family and decided to look up a few places I could get a pie or slice from,tried a few different places in the area over the past 3wks. Thankful to have come across this gem who apparently have beenoperating for 40+ years if I heard correctly. The slice had the perfect everything and served so hot that you couldn't help butto go back and scorch the roof of your mouth. It was that great I couldn't wait to dive back in. Crispy bottom that held up aquality cheese and sauce that wasn't so light that it left you wanting more, crust perfectly risen, leaving the crumb airy andthe crust crunchy- the perfect slice. Will continue to keep coming here anytime I come into town for some quality pizza andhighly recommend it to anyone who finds themselves in the mood for a phenomenal NY slice. Read more

I ordered for a large party of 4 families. It was so fantastic that they will be visiting the shop on their own. Every item was... perfect and hot. Salad was incredible. I ordered calzones, stromboli's, multiple types of pizzas, and multiple pinwheels. Takes me back to the pizza I had in high school from "a little Italian Bakery in San Pedro, CA". Pizzarito has been my go-to pizza place since I was a kid, and now I?m ordering pizza from them for my kid?s parties! We order... pizza at least once a month and it is always delicious. Our friends know we only order from Pizzarito and they love it, too!After all of these years (decades), I finally met the owner, Al, and he & his wife were so kind and appreciative of ourbusiness?which is so refreshing and heartwarming. We recently went in to place a big order for a party outside of their deliveryarea, and they did everything to make sure we were taken care of. They even gave my son a free cookie for his birthday. Josedelivered the pizzas and was so thoughtful. Really enjoyed my lunch at Pizzarito NY Pizza By the Slice. Location is sort of Hidden but can be spotted by the orange... umbrellas out front. I had a slice of mushroom and a slice of sausage. Both were excellent. Beer is available however if you areeating outside the beverage must be inside a paper cup. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My favorite Pizza place in MarinaDel Rey. As a transplant from New York, I know when I taste authentic delicious New York style pizza. This place is dialed in! Their... Neapolitan pizza is delicious with lots of different options and styles. This place also makes a Sicilian pizza which is hard tofind out here in California. They?ve also got other great delicious pinwheels and garlic knots. Lots of great dishes andoptions.
