We were in the Marina Del Rey area for something and I remembered there was a Rubio's nearby that I used to frequent when I... worked at Sport Chalet many years ago. My son was craving fish ???? tacos. It was a good call. Both he and I ordered theOriginal Fish Tacos combo. It comes with 2 tacos, beans and chips. This is not even a complaint about the food, but the terrible service. My boyfriend wanted to go in to see if he had left his... phone in the restaurant, and the guy who was closing completely ignored him. He did not even try to acknowledge my boyfriend'sconcern, and he saw him knocking on the door for at least 15min. Even the mall's guard tried to help him, but the guy ignoredboth of them. Enjoy the food and the service is amazing. Honestly and I know management knows, their hours are horrible. They never are open... based on the hours posted and they never ever change or address it. Check out the chalkboard hanging to your left when you walk in that showcases new items and deals for the day. Rubio's is a... place where I can trust their fish. They also serve chicken, hormone free and an excellent alternative if you're not down forseafood. Super good chicken tortilla soup btw. Mexican beers and American beers served to cheers along with your meal. Freshsalsa bar made daily. The employees are very nice and some have been there for a while now. Free parking outside. Super slow service. Their excuse was ?we are understaffed?, yet the staff that WAS there working let mine and another customers... food sit in the window ready for over 10 minutes while they chatted in the back.
