One of the worst food experiences I have had. I called before arriving and spoke with the manager regarding gluten free options.... I was told there were both gluten free pasta options as well as chicken. When I arrived I was told the steak, salmon and lambwere the only gluten free options. The lamb is not gluten free after being told it was. Then I ordered the salmon which wascompletely raw, multiple employees were very rude and the dishes were overly expensive My $16 old fashioned was served with amaraschino Cherry and lots of ice This place is outdated, the food is overly expensive and the staff is rude I just wasted $100and now need to go buy food from another restaurant. I will never eat here again, I suggest you do not as well Read more

Would give no stars if I could. The bread they bring out is dry and hard. The pasta was okay at best but my husband liked it so... he wanted to come again. Came one evening at 8:30 they refused to seat us saying that they were closing. Despite the fact thatonline says they close at 10pm. We tired coming again this evening and called ahead of time asking when they seat the lastcustomer. We were told 9:30pm. We show up at 8:30 again and still were turned away. Go at your own risk Read more

My family and I had a wonderful experience here. We had my brother's rehearsal dinner here a week ago and everything was perfect... including the customer service, ambiance and food. The owner did an amazing job of making sure everyone (including the kiddos)we're happy and everyone loves the food. The view from the patio is also great. Can't wait to come back. Read more

Great little Italian restaurant off the beaten path. Entrees are very flavorful and the chef frequently rotates through a... selection of unique and tasty specials. Great ambiance outdoors by the water. Definitely worth a repeat trip! Read more

Sapori Italian Restaurant is a great place. I know that because I have been there on many occasions. I am offended by overly... entitled reviews by customers who foolishly decide on what they want and when they don't like the taste they want a whole newplate of the same price and not paying for the next. One of the comments below is one of such. The reviewer called "Jenn" saidshe came there with her mum to celebrate her DMV License and ordered her food. She ended up not liking it and was told "We don'treturn food" (Off course they don't return food). She wanted a whole new plate because she had paid $24. So if she didn't likethe second plate would she have asked that they keep bringing her new orders till she finds what she likes? Does she realizeevery plate cost Sapori Italian Restaurant to make and they are barely breaking even? She gets angry and writes a dumb reviewcomplaining their refusal to give her another plate after not liking the first one which SHE ORDERED. Who is raising theseidiots? Are these the kids we leave this world to? Sapori Italian Restaurant is indeed a great place. Don't let any wanna be"food blogger" change your mind or deny you a great experience. Go there and you will have a great time, like me and thousandsof others. Pay attention "Jenn" didn't say the food was bad, she said "she didn't like it". Restaurants shouldn't be losingmoney because you don't like what YOU ORDERED and more importantly servers deserve more respect than that. Read more

I wanted to celebrate my achievement of getting my DMV license. My mom's said there was a good. Italian in Fisherman Village. ... Sapori Italian Restaurant. We went. We had a delicious artichoke and garlic bulb. I ordered the Fettuccine al something. Mymom ordered the seafood risotto. I didn't like mine. I called the waiter over politely told him I didn't like it. He said "we don't return food." I said " excuse me? Can you make an exception?" He said "no" and shook his head. " I said for 24.00I would think you would exchange it for something I liked instead " he gave me a face. The other guests were flabbergasted aswell. He ultimately obliged after I refused anything else. Be warned never come here. I could've been a big time food bloggeror critic. Smh Read more

Sapori will always be my FAVORITE Italian place to go!!! Taste is guaranteed. Vibe is right on point. But more so, again,... friendliness of the owner is something that you will definitely want to experience. The boss man is the coolest and friendliestperson you can ever meet! His thick Italian accent first gets you think “okay he knows what he’s talking about here.” Thenhe will take time to explain all of dishes and recommend dishes! And, most importantly, if you are a wine lover, this place isTHE PLACE to go. All of their wine choices are top notch classics and you will not be disappointed! My colleague who spent hisalmost entire life in Europe as a business man visited here with me. He saw the list. And he fell in love with Sapori. MUSTVISIT AT ALL COST!!! Read more

Food is well presented, not high priced, and service is good. Avoid going there on weekends, they're very busy. Make sure to... pay for automated parking before heading to your table. I had full course meal with my wife, including wine, appetizer dessertand coffee. I especially loved the eggplant appetizer called BABY MELANZANE ALLA PARMIGIANA. I had the salmon well done andasked for extra roasted potatoes. The food was a bit saltier, but I didn't mine. Read more
