I was in the mood for spaghetti, and found this amazing hidden gem of Marion! I ordered a small pizza and spaghetti with... meatballs with meat sauce to go. The pizza was so good, I couldn't stop eating it! I had to wait to try the spaghetti until thenext day and WOW. Everything tastes like homemade! The atmosphere inside the restaurant is great and the service is top notch.A+++! Thank you for a great experience! PS- try the pomegranate margarita..yum! Read more

Food was ok. Disappointed with the lasagna. Tasted old. Definitely not made today. Didn't look anything like the pics that they... advertise. Was dry had almost no sauce. Might try again but probably won't. Read more

Walking up to it the restaurant had the right vibe you get from a place that has grown organically over time rather than a fancy... place with no history or worn out place that never grew or changed. The decor was nice and eclectic. Our server, Anthony, wasprompt, pleasant, and professional. Me and the wife ordered a large pan pizza, split half sausage for me and half pepperoni andbanana peppers for her. The sausage was an amazing traditional Italian sausage chunked. Being from Chicagoland I'd say thisplace would fit right in! Walts is a great find and we'll definitely be back whenever we come to the Shawnee National Forest! Read more

We have enjoyed Walt?s until the last few visits. Friday 9/23 was the last time. There were 3 of us in the visit and we ordered... told the waitress it was all to come together and we had added on a salad bar for $5.99 (not appetizer then entree) well onedish came then we asked about the burger to come, it never came after 20 more minutes so I asked to remove the burger as mydiabetic sisters sugar began to drop the waitress brings the receipt with some prices doubled. No apologies nothing. All weordered was taco nachos and a burger with the salad bar and we?re there over an hour. Read more

Another old timer of a place. Been there since like ...forever...older than me, and I'm 40, so...yeah...I get the taco nachos... usually, they're famous for their double decker Pizza...which are great. Just go there. If it's old and Italian, it's worthgoing to, trust me. I've told you my go to things. And they are good. Mind you, as a small child my mom used to make their taconachos at home. She worked their as a teenager. They are good I promise. Perfect appetizer. Read more

Waitress was very attentive. I liked the cheese sticks but others in my party did not. The salad bar is worth the add. We got 3... large thin pizzas. I did not care for the parts of my crispy crust was burned. Not a lot but enough to be irritating on myhalf of the pizza. Next time I will try the double dough. I didn't ask because they were busy but they had a picture when youfirst come in of steak over fettuccine or spaghetti. It isn't on the menu. Steak with bow tie pasta was I believe. Read more

Definitely an original style of pizza, unlike any others Ive tasted. Our pizza consisted of pepperoni, sausage and canadian... bacon. The cheese seems like it is a special blend that they have created, it's very creamy and has a nice cheese funk to it,swiss maybe? The double decker is a thin crust pizza with a second layer of thin crust stacked inside. Between those layers isa thin layer of cheese and sauce. Then the cheese and toppings are layered above both crusts. The outter pie crust is crispy andstill has a nice chew to it. We will try one of their specialty pizzas next time. The Spinach Artichoke looked really tasty. Wealso order cheese garlic bread and a pomegranate margarita. Read more
