Oh my goodness! The food is great, and the servings are huge. The meals are priced just right. Almost every table or booth... were occupied. I enjoyed our server, she was pleasant and friendly to everyone. The server checked on us, being sure toprovide additional service, if needed. Read more

First time trying it and I was pleasently surprised. Got burgers for carryout and they were great! I loved the atmosphere inside... and the girl at the counter was very pleasant. Very nice art to look at on the walls as well. I will definitely be back! Read more

The food and service were AMAZING! We went for Sunday brunch, so it was busy and it took a little longer than I'd like for our... food. But it was perfection when we got it! The waffles are the fluffiest I've ever tasted. Ever. Not one thing was over orunder done - including the eggs, which never happens. Gorgeous building and great atmosphere. We will definitely go back. Read more

As I write this, the Building Permit is still in the window. However, word-of-mouth has the place packed with patrons! [to the... point that I had to park about a block away] There is both indoor dining and some tables in the patio area. I had one of theplatters and it was very generous. The staff were attentive to our needs throughout the meal--including refilling drinks andcoffee as needed. The only detractor to my meal was that they burned the english muffin, and still served it. The rest of themeal was delicious. Being a breakfast fan, this restaurant will see me again soon. Read more

Time travel a bit back to an old train station and enjoy! As we arrived, the parking lot was packed, line out the door and cars... parked on the street. Jaw dropping to say the least and as we continued with our meal experience, it became clear as to whypeople frequent the Train Station Pancake House. This is a quaint, beautiful and boldly decorated place you can enjoy somehomemade batter Belgium waffles and pancakes. These are NOT warmed from frozen and you can taste the difference! The menu isenough and whether you would like to enjoy breakfast or lunch, you will be kindly greeted and served. We will be revisiting whenwe come back into the area to visit our college student! Visited 3/5/22 830am We walked and was seated immediately near a window. It was cold. Waitress was nice, she was inconsistent... with refills and checking on us. The napkins have a knife and fork only, no spoon. If you order coffee better ask for aspoon. We ordered 3 omelettes and 1 waffle. The omelettes are made with real egg and taste amazing! A real egg omelette is waybetter than an liquid egg omelette like ihop makes. The butter comes out in little to go size and if you have fat hands aredifficult to open. Towards the end of our meal the busser was in-the-way and taking plates etc but then took the drinks we werestill enjoying (coffee). So don?t go to the bathroom or you might come back to no drinks. Overall it?s good food! Worth avisit! Read more

My office held a small baby shower at the Train Station and it was clean, warm and inviting. The server was attentive and kept... our table clean and refills fresh. She took our orders and our food came out piping hot. The food was fresh, flavorful and theportions was well worth the price of the meal. This is a DEFINITE MUST STOP when coming through Grant County, Indiana located inMarion. It is great for breakfast, Brunch, lunch and dinner. Read more

This was our first chance to try out the "new" Train Station Pancake House in Marion since it reopened in the last year or so. ... We were pleasantly surprised at our first visit here as a pancake house. So we didn't get any pancakes... We were verysurprised by the full menu, there were a lot of choices, from breakfast fare to sandwiches, to more typical dinners, includingsteaks (although they close at 3 pm these days, quite before my dinner time). For a Sunday lunch we tried sandwiches; Weordered the Depot Club and a cheeseburger. This first experience: Not quite 5 stars, but a solid 4 star meal. The clubsandwich was full and made well, and we liked the fries - they were lightly battered and crispy, However, the bacon was notcrispy on the hamburger which would have made an improvement. The décor is essentially the same as the previous restaurantsthat have come and gone in this location, but I always liked the atmosphere and somehow it seems more authentic now that "trainstation" is in the restaurant title. They do have a little model train there, but in an added touch of realism, it was fun tofeel the rumble and hear the whistle of a real train as it rolled past during our meal. Otherwise, I always liked the carvedtable surfaces from a previous Mexican restaurant incarnation. Somehow the eclectic combo still works, although it doesn'tremind me of a pancake house. Our service was really great: 5 stars for that. The staff was happy, friendly, and mostimportantly, both easy-going and helpful. Our food came out in maybe 10-12 minutes despite the place being about somewhat full,so we thought it would take a lot longer. These people definitely seem to know how to run a restaurant, and we had a goodfirst visit, so we plan to go back and try some other things on the menu. Read more
