Great sub! Been here twice and both times the sandwich was not as "neat" as my home store in Dubuque. The taste is 100% but it... falls apart. FWIW - I have the same sub, with the same ingredients EVERY time no matter where I order it from. I still feel a 4*is a fair rating and I WILL go there again without hesitation. UPDATE Stopped in again today and although they are under newownership and there was a marked unproven in the "neatness" of my sandwich, there were "issues" with the payment process thatcaused a back up of 3-4 people behind me who had their sandwich but hadn't paid yet.... Always get a Giant #13 in Rosemary Parmesan bread with the works. Look at this work of art. A no-brainer.
Went in at 12:30 lunch time and expected a wait. Nope, super fast and super friendly (the staff seemed genuinely happy and... nice). They got our food very promptly, engaged in conversation with my three and 5-year-old, and even offered them each acookie. To top it all off... The food was amazing! So excited to hear that this Marion location has brand new ownership and management. For those that have had any issues at this... location previously TRUST ME TRY AGAIN! More expensive than other sub shops in the area, but also way better! It's my new fave! I thought the employees were really... friendly, maybe just a little nervous from all being new. I think the other comments seem to be a little harsh. The one blackgirl in her 20s/30s in particular who made my sandwich was super patient and helpful with people! The servings are hefty...theregular size could easily be 2 servings. I love the turkey and provolone w/ "Mikes way" (they add oil/vinegar/herbs to it) onthe rosemary bread.. The wait was only a bit because the place just opened, but it seems to be pretty quick once you're at thecounter. My only tip is maybe ask if they can do "Mikes way" on the side if you are taking it to go cause it does get soggy fastif you're driving in from CR. Read more
