I'll start by saying the pizza was great. Sliced into squares, which is not my fav, but great taste. Not better or worse than... competitors though. And more expensive. Not much atmosphere. All booths and tables are hard wood, and ceiling is exposed sosound carries and echoes a lot even when not busy. When you come in you're given plates and silverware to take to your table, which threw me off. No wait staff, which has its pros and cons. No pop machine, so no free refills, which is a major minus forme. Overall it reminded me of a place like Freddy's or Five Guys - good food but not the kind of place where one is encouragedto hang out. The staff is friendly but the atmosphere is not the warm, dine-in type that I prefer. Also (and this is notTomaso's fault and did not factor into my rating but I'll mention it anyway) I'm not a fan of gentrified downtown Marion. Read more

Tomaso?s is among our favorite pizza spots in Marion. We go with the large ?Mambo Combo? on New York-style crust. Their cheesy... bread is also great- just make sure to order extra sauce. You?ll be glad you did. Finally, Tomaso?s pizza serves some of thebiggest WINGS I?ve seen in town. Love this place! Read more

I tried the New York and Detroit style pizza. Very good as far as flavor, thought the New York pizza could have been a bit more... thin but was very tasty. Prices were ok. Wanted to try the Chicago style pizza but they were out at the moment. I didn't seefountain drink besides a lemonade, only bottled beverages. Close to downtown in a street corner with a neat view, great seats.Holds a maximum of about 70 people. Read more

One of my favorite places to get a good pie in the Cedar Rapids area. It's a little more money than some but it hits the spot... when you're craving something more like the bigs in Chicago, or a good Detroit style. Read more

Went to Tomaso?s for our team lunch, being in Cedar Rapids from out of town. We got two medium pizzas. We enjoyed the Mombo... Combo and the BBQ chicken! I kinda wanted something more to choose from for drinks but it was nice to have the Iowa made RootBeer. We really enjoyed the Mombo Combo Supreme and the cheese was impressive on both. The pizza is a little pricey but that?swhat Team Lunches are for ???? lol. I thought the pizza box was pretty cool. I like how it has handles that sort of lock. Read more

Totally disgusting pizza was like eating wet bread with cheese. Ordered from here cause I wanted to do something nice for my... wife and get her something from Michigan with their Detroit deep dish. The cost is not worth it looks and taste disgusting, donot eat here. Read more
