Great BBQ. Loved the taco appetizer. Kids had the pulled pork salad ( which was huge) and the burger with cheddar and bacon. My... cousin had pulled pork on Mac and cheese. It was good too. The Mac and cheese was creamy and had great flavor.We also tried theplatter with 2 meats and a side the turkey was really good not dry and had a great smoked flavor. Service was so so not the best or worst, no beer! No alcohol! Small dinning area, but the food was great, 5 wings and they were... the whole wing very meaty and tasty!!! Sweet potato fries and the special dip was out of this world! Mexican corn just right aswell cooked to perfection with great flavors nothing overwhelming about it!!! We stopped here while on a road trip headed south. Everything was excellent! Sierra was such a great server and she provided a... great experience for our first time here. And the food was all so good! All of the sauces are amazing and we loved all of thefood! The macaroni and cheese was so creamy and the meat was all so tender. The sampler platters are a great choice so you cantry all of their meats! And save room for the Apple crisp! If we ever travel through here again, we would definitely return. Read more
We were quoted a 15 minute wait but it was only about 7 minutes. The environment is super homey, theme is consistent, food price... to serving is beyond what I expected, food quality is immaculate, love the feel look and theme all together. This place stands up to ANY spot a big city can offer, HANDS DOWN end of question! I think I've had everything in the menu... (except pulled jackfruit & burgers) and never had a bad meal. The mac&cheese is on another level!! Their sauce choices arephenomenal! I can't say enough good things. Also, this is one of very few places that offer an exceptional value for the cost.The food is always presented with appeal. I will add the owners are fantastic. No one would expect to travel instantly to Memphis in a Midwestern town. No one would expect to find such excellent BBQ in an... area where few local restaurants have managed to survive. I happily met one of the owners (Robert) who daringly opened thisplace in the middle of the 2020 pandemic. A risky move, but with wonderful results. The interior does have a Beale Street feel.My appetizers alone were plentiful. They will FEED you well in here. My food and my friend?s food were fabulous. We ate likeroyalty. You wanna ?Memphis in Marion? experience? Right here! I hope this restaurant succeeds well and starts a local foodscene trend that Marion could well benefit from. Hats off to the owners and staff. I?ve gotten down on plenty of pulled pork BBQ & brisket in my time, and this place does a few things very well. This includes... their moist and tender brisket. The cut could be a bit thicker, but it was still very enjoyable. Their garlic sauce was a verygood pairing with their brisket. Their hot sauce was, well, lacking heat, but was still good with their well-minced pulledpork. Nothing worse than a lazy place that merely chops up their pork shoulder with a mezzaluna knife in the back room. I reallydig well-pulled pork, and am willing to pay extra for it. The potato salad was nothing spectacular, a typical midwestern picnicstyle potato salad, nothing too exotic, but it hit the spot. I would definitely stop back through here if I?m ever comingthrough these parts on a road trip. This time, it was for a visit to Warren G. I might even give this BBQ outfit a good look ifI saw their smoker being trailered into a competition. Read more
