I can't believe such a gem as this would exist in downtown Marion! Such a wonderful atmosphere and the owner is a delight.
This was a great experience, I've pasted this place multiple times the past few months and I finally went. It did not... disappoint, Ginney was a great hostest and I can not wait to go back. Absolutely darling! Everything was delicious, it?s a rare tea service that I am a fan of all the tea sandwich offerings but each... one was so yummy. I love the touch of adding fresh strawberries to the table, my brother was a huge fan and put one in each biteof his scone. I was a bit wary at first at the low cost of $12 per person, most tea houses I?ve been to have been at least $45and up but she does a wonderful job offering many lil tasty treats. Our service had a traditional offering of scones on the top,sandwiches in the middle: chicken salad, ham, cheese, and spinach tarts; and desserts on the bottom tier: chocolate biscuits,mini muffins, chocolate meringue puffs, and lil bites of something with coconut that was scrumptious. The scones came withwhipped cream, strawberry preserves, and fresh strawberries. The tea offerings are few but she is very attentive and ready tofill your pot and supply milk and honey if requested. This place is a hidden gem! The owner is from Ireland and just lovely and very accommodating. The table was set with beautiful... china, the tea was delicious, and the sandwiches, scones, pastries were all delicious. Please go and try Booming Blessings! Yougo once and you will be hooked! Lovely place and wonderful tea! We just moved here recently and I stopped in as I was driving around; it is such a cute shop... with traditional hot tea options and treats and even some gluten free options ??. I look forward to coming back with my girls(and boys)... this is the type of place we love to stop in at! They also have a selection of antique decor for sale and aboutique consignment shop shares the space next door. Definitely recommend! Read more
