Went here with my wife. We got the spicy beef and ajisen ramen. Both broths were incredibly rich and noodles were springy. The... spicy beef broth was a bit spicy but tolerable for anyone that wants a kick to their ramen. The ajisen ramen was a bit lighter.Would definitely go again. Read more
I?ve been coming here since 2013 and usually get the spicy beef ramen. The best ramen place imo. Never never never disappoints.... I?ve tried so many ramen places in the GTA and even in Tokyo. This place will always be my fave. The staff are super nice too.Even during busy hours I have always received great service and food. 10/10 Read more
Ajisen is reliably good. The portions are large and the manager is friendly and helpful. We received complimentary tea and... spring rolls. I ordered the vegetarian ramen with spicy tom yum broth. It was delicious. There is a good variety of veggiesincluding black fungus, enoki, leeks, broccoli, corn and fried tofu. The broth was both creamy and spicy. The noodles were chewyand filling. Ordered for take-out & didn?t realize there was options for the thickness of noodles since I wasn?t asked, & got ones that felt... like spaghetti to me. Didn?t really enjoy them too much, & the corn wasn?t crunchy or sweet either. Felt like it lacked moresoybeans, but the broth was really yummy; creamy & light. The pork was also the best I?ve had from any other place. It?s a lotcheaper than most ramen places so I?d be willing to try it again. PS the chilli oil is insanely spicy so use with caution!! I think is just an average ramen place. I ordered the Shoyu ramen, soup didn't taste rich and the pork didn't taste fresh and... also pretty fatty. Noodles tasted very altdente. I ordered a Takoyaki on the side and the squids was pretty chewy from theinside. Will I go there again? Probably not. Read more
