Huge restaurant with many seats. They get quite busy. The food tasted good and portions sizes are big for a reasonable price.... Great spot for meals with family and friends. Read more

Busy place but the restaurant is huge. There’s tons of seating so even though we came during prime dinner time they still had... booth seats available for the two of us. Their menu is super extensive too. We lost track of items we wanted to try as we wereflipping through their menu. Love that there’s photos of some of their specialty dishes. Portion size was a lot bigger thanwhat we’re use to in Vancouver. Service was super friendly too. Read more

We used to come here a lot before COVID and their food and services were good. After the pandemic, we came here few times. Both... the quality of food and services dropped dramatically. We kept giving them excuses but this time would probably be our last timeat this restaurant. The tea was served cold; we don't know how long the teapot was sitting around for before we arrived. Thecurry beef looked like HK-styled Portuguese chicken. It did not even have any curry flavour, actually it did not really have anyflavour. The satay beef tasted like soy sauce beef which had only 2 pieces of pineapple and no satay flavour at all. It seemslike the kitchen may have ran out of salt, none of their dishes tasted savoury. We went there last Tuesday for afternoon tea.Only a quarter of the dining area was full. They had 3 servers on the floor (not including those at the cashier counter). Theywere not attentive at all. They tried to ignore and avoid eye contact with us the whole time we were there. It started when wewalked in and were waiting to be seated, then we were waited (from placing the order to requesting napkins to asking for thebill so we can pay). Everytime we needed wave and call out to alert them. They finally brought us the card machine when weresorted to walking to the counter, minutes after receiving the bill and trying to get the attention of one of the waitstaff sowe can make a payment. Dined here recently for the first time. I’ve wanted to try this place for years! It was Father’s Day so it was super busy... but we didn’t want too long for a table. Some servers were a little rude and our order took over 40 mins to get to our table, but again it’s understandable as it was a busy day. We ordered the Hong Kong lobster, lo mein, turnip, friend rice. To becompletely honest the food wasn’t that great and was lacking a lot of flavour. My expectations were too high. I wouldn’tcome back on my own, or maybe I’ll try another location. Read more

This location is preferred over the Richmond Hill branch. Their food seems more fresh. Service is average. Waiting area is more... spacious and has lots of chairs to cater people waiting for a table. Read more

Very delicious Chinese cuisine, the duck was delicious and the Congee definitely healed the soul. Food service was also really... fast. although we were right next to the door so the food got cold very quickly which ruined the experience a little. Woulddefinitely love to come back and try other dishes! Read more

Been to this location many times. It is always busy, and the BBQ meat selections sell out early in the evening...so get there... early. Typical Congee Queen food quality...you won't be disappointed. Restaurant closes at 10 pm now post-covid. Read more

They have a afternoon tea special between 3-5pm which was great, especially for people who eat lunch really late like myself or... people or eat dinner early enough to enjoy the special. The portions are surprisingly big based on their price. The bitter melonrib with rice cost around 12, the beef noodle cost 10 and the congee was only 8.50. The flavours were decent, a bit lacking forme personally but still tastes good. While the beef was really tender, the bitter melon was a bit undercooked and too crunchyfor me. The food is also served with a drink each and they offer drinks such as bubble tea and red bean ice cream without anextra cost. That is amazing since most restaurant would charge an extra fee for these types of drinks. Read more
