This place has some really good vibes. The restaurant owner and her husband are really great humans. Their service and care is... really amazing. Coming to food, my personal favourites are chilli chicken, Bombay chicken, Szechwan chicken and chicken pakoraand not to forget their iconic chilli sauce. All these items taste good both wet and dry. Been eating here with my family for a decade now, i remember going very young on the weekends and we would grab a movie from the... place next door, go home and have a great time eating together. I have many favourite Hakka spots in Toronto (Lin garden and Federicks my top) I decided to try this new place because they are... top rated on Uber eats It didn?t disappoint! It was a bit of a hit/miss situation I experienced with the dishes we ordered. A few of them were very tasty and a few of them... were not that great. This seems like a good place for takeout but the dining experience was mediocre at most, they should putmore money/efforts into improving the restaurant environment. Read more
This seemed to be the only hakka restaurant in the area that I had not tried. Chicken pakora was tasty but not very spicy... probably my favorite of the 3 dishes tried. Fried rice was good but nothing special. Manchurian chicken had a good spice levelto it but not the flavour I would expect. I had to ask to make sure they gave me the right dish as did not have the normal redcolour. If you told me it was chilli chicken my opinion might be higher as the taste was closer to that. I will have to try itagain and some different dishes. Service was OK, they took our order quickly enough and food came in a reasonable time and wasvery hot. They never checked on us after the food came or offered us more water. I would give this a 3.5 stars if possible. Other better options in the area in my opinion. Read more
Food (7/10), service (6/10), atmosphere(5/10) Spicy Chicken dry was spicy enough and tasty. Full of ginger and spicy peppers... makes good combination. Chicken hakka noodls Tasty, I prefer the flat noodles. Here has rounded noodles. Egg fried Rice andeggplant was average. Owner was busy but still very efficient to serve Take out customers. Decided to try this place out as it had decent reviews. Did a phone in order for pickup on a Saturday afternoon. Ordered the ... Cantonese Mix Chow Mein , Bombay Chicken and chicken fried rice. Pros: -Lady hung up the first time, probably by mistake. Sheseemed friendly and nice once after i re-dailed. -Food was made quickly and she gave me extra utensils and containers whenasked. Cons: -Food was average quality at best. -The Cantonese Mix Chow Mein was extremely oily and greasy. It is supposed tobe made with Chinese Cantonese egg noodles not HAKKA noodles. If i knew this i would not have ordered from this place. -Friedrice and bumbay chicken was subpar. Overall I will not be returning to this place and i suggest a different hakka restaurantif you have the cravings. Read more
