Bun was not toasted, sandwich was cold to the touch except for the pattie inside. Given all the veggie inside the overall bite... was still cold. Sauce was making the untoasted bun soggy and I'm eating it right inside the store, not moving it 20 minuteshome. Unacceptable given the price and quality that is expected from a burger joint vs something like McDonald's. I'm a regularhere and sometimes they do toast the buns and all I can say is that this will is not a negligence but down right laziness of theworkers inside as there was no line before and after me. Horrible burgers. Tried hero burger a long time ago and thought it was horrible. I was at LCBO and saw the ad (at least the... marketing worked), got the smashed burger and the plant based burger. Plant based was yuck, but not unexpected. Smashed burgerwas horrendous. If you like these burgers, just go get a real burger from Fresh Burger, you will never go back to hero everagain. Read more

We both got their NEW Smashed Burger Combo. These Smashed Burgers were AMAZING, it came with a juicy, caramelized 3oz Smashed... Beef Patty, Cheese, Lettuce, Onion, Tomato, Pickles on their soft and fluffy Potato Bun, we were feeling fancy, so added crispyBeef Bacon, Fried Egg, and Sauteed Onions, it enhanced the flavour so much! We also upgraded both of the sides from Fries toCrunchy Chicken Strips and Mushroom Poutine, we highly recommend the Chicken Strips, they were crispy, tender, and the Ranch dipwas PERFECT for it! an Amazing experience, the staff , the owner , very welcoming and excellent and beyond exceptional service. The restaurant... itself was very neat and clean, and very spacious compared to other locations for big gatherings....the food was top notchcompared to any other burger joints and also compared to other Hero locations. Fast food, this is not. Quiet lunch hour with 3 orders ahead of me, and still took 38 minutes to push out my one burger combo... with no customizations. Sweet potato fries are pretty decent, but the chicken burger is very mediocre. Edit: great responsefrom management. I know how long I sat in the dining room waiting for my food so I can get back to work. If you can'tacknowledge that you have a problem, even if it's an incidental one, I definitely will not be back. It is a really short walk from my workplace so i thought of giving it a try. The restaurant was empty and they also have wifi... .The servers were polite and smiling. I got the medium patty Hero signature burger combo with Chocolate shake. The burger tastesso soft that i melted in my mouth and yummy.The fries were so fresh and had the crunch and softness . The chocolate shake wasvery good and was of decent size.It was a very fulfilling meal.It could a be expensive for some but i believe value equals price.I will definitely this chain again. Read more
