The majority of the staff have stayed through covid, personal life changes, as well as the transfer of ownershipfrom one fantastic couple to another. We all have the same priority, to keep The Pickle as safe, comfortable and fun as it'sknown for. Speaking as an employee, we love to make your time enjoyable!! Since Jon and Tracy left, the Pickle has gone down hill. We?ve tried it several times and it?s never been the same. I tried to... order food for 10 farmers at 7:44 on a Sunday night, which would have been a minimum of $150, I was told the kitchen closed at7:45, so we should have been able to order. Wait was a bit much on all aspects of our dining experience. Our onion rings were burned and mangled, ver difficult to eat. We... both ordered a sandwich and both sandwiches were lacking flavor. My husband did enjoy his beer, but the vodka in my Carmelapple clushy over powered the flavor expected. I will say the staff was friendly, but I believe they need more staff to attendto the amount of customers they have. I do not recommend the chili cheese potato either. Disappointment as well. We cameoriginally to try the fatman pizza but was told it was an hour wait for the order so we tried other items from the menu. Wewill not be going back either. Our visit was on 10/21/22 around 7:15pm. They definitely have their picks on customers as well. Took forever to get the attention of staff. Not a huge fan. We went last night with the suggestion of one of my husband's Co workers and the food wasn't that great. The... server wasn't that friendly, we definitely won't be back... It's definitely over priced and taste like it's been microwaved.UPDATE: We talked to a few locals and this place definitely has a bad rep... Sunday, I rode down to the pickle for their special, the loaded nachos. It had a nice crispy layered chips with ground beef and... then the cheese was melted before adding any of the cold veggies. The jalapenos were fresh cut and definitely on the spicy side.Lucky for me, between the sour cream and the $3 half pitcher special, I was able to brave my way through the whole plate. A very nice experience. My wife's and my salads were wonderful. The surroundings was louder than we like.
