I like to explore diners around central Massachusetts, and every time I try somewhere new my go-to testing food is corned beef... hash. This is the second time in 10 years of exploring diners that I?ve encountered onions in corned beef hash. It?s vile. Noone should ever contaminate perfectly good food with onions. Nothing will get you a bad review from me faster than unannounced,unexpected onions. On top of that though, it was fairly loud inside, and I couldn?t hear others at my table talking. The worstbit was that I never got my coffee, so while waiting there with just water I had to then send back my food for something lessthan what I wanted, and overall the experience just left me in a really bad mood. It was just alright. The breakfast was something I could of made at home and the break was not toasted to a crisp. The loaded... hash browns were good but not crispy either? the pancakes were the only thing that were worth it. $3 dollars and change for thatpancake. Fluffy and not too sweet. Read more
When on vacation or hockey trips we love going to the locals. Will not eat at a chain restaurant. This one was definitely worth... the price. Great food, great service. The wait staff treated you like family and seemed to know almost everyone of the localswho came in. Give them a try if you are ever in the area. Read more
Came here and got the biscuits and gravy special with a chicken fried steak. The fry on the steak was good although the portion... felt a bit small but right for the price especially with the eggs and generosity of the gravy. The one thing I will say was thatthe music was pretty loud. If you're looking for like a rocking place to jam out to some tunes while you support a localbusiness that has classic diner fare then this is your place to be. Their oil is clean so if you do go here I'd recommendanything that's deep fried because it's probably great. Read more
My partner and I were running errands and wanted to get some breakfast to go. We ordered the corned beef hash and eggs Benny.... Both were prepared well and the service was very helpful! They can get quite busy on weekends so consider calling ahead ifyou're picking up. I personally like my hashbrowns a little crispy, so I'll ask that next time I order! Read more
First time I've ever been here but was taken by a friend who grew up eating here and it was absolutely delicious ! The waitress... was really sweet and the environment was very pleasant. Walking out one of the chefs even said have a great day. Overall thisdish was awesome and I highly recommend this place. The business is also cash only which wasn't an issue one bit but it's goodto know ! They have an atm located right outside the door for the convenience. Thanks again! Read more
A google search led us here, and we're glad it did. Small but the food was good, staff was friendly. Decent breakfast places are... getting more and more rare. But glad we drove from Framingham for it. Read more
