I work in the building they operate in and kinda procrastinated trying them out. Once i finally got around to it, instantly... regretted not doing it sooner. Though they are a little on the pricier side, Travelin' Bones is well worth the money. The sizeof the portions is pretty generous. The brisket is delicious and one of the best I've had. The mac and cheese was pretty goodand the cornbread was really good (and im not a fan of corn bread) but its the right amount of sweet and not too dry. I plan onswinging by here more often to try what else they have to offer. The reviews that i did see on this don't do it justice, especially since they are wait times on a food truck at an event which should be expected especially if its a busy event. Ifyour in the area looking for a quick and tasty lunch, give them a shot. Read more

Visited the Travelin' Bones food truck and I can't think of anything positive to say. Terrible and slow service! Food was bad to... mediocre. Took over an hour and 40 minutes to get food (not including time in line). Got the mac and cheese and pulled pork. Thecheese sauce was separating and a little grainy. The pulled pork was room temp by the time we got it. Definitely not worth thewait! A little over an hour into the wait, we got in line for a refund, but they were so slow at processing them that ourfood was finally ready by the time we got to the front of the line. Wish we'd still insisted on a refund because pretty muchanything else would have been better. Read more

My Father and Mother have always existed in my mmin and heart as ????THE SINGLE BEST???? BBQ chefs in the WORLD....my whole... life, I've tried BBQ at many many scores of joints....and truth be told a couple have come close.....this "TRAVELIN' BONES"place creates these ribs that are "low and slow" like Mamma and Daddy would do them..... DAMN GOOD sauce also. And also reallygood flavorful, biting sides. As I contemplate going full out vegetarian or vegan, when I think back on my youth and whatbrought me deep comfort - it was ribs. And my family would ALWAYS (and to this day) tease me about that. As I edge closer to Vor V I know that I'll have to readjist my relationship with my past comfort foods. Read more
